Job summary

Bounteous in Gurugram, India seeks a Senior Program Manager to own end-to-end delivery of large-scale technology programs across multiple applications and teams.

You will translate business objectives into technical roadmaps, govern delivery, manage cross-functional dependencies, and report to senior stakeholders on progress, risks, and benefits. Experience in banking/regulated environments and strong Agile/hybrid delivery is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Program Management, Technical Program Management, Portfolio Management, or Technology Delivery.
• Experience delivering complex technology transformation programs in regulated environments (banking/financial services).
• Strong ability to manage multi-technology workstreams incl. cloud, data, security, and APIs.
• Proven track record in establishing governance, KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Experience working with senior executives, architects, engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery models.

Key Responsibilities

• Accountable for end-to-end delivery of large-scale technology programs across multiple applications, platforms, and technology teams.
• Translate business objectives into technical program roadmaps, delivery plans, milestones, and outcomes.
• Work closely with Technology and Architecture teams to understand solution architecture, application dependencies, integrations, APIs, cloud, infrastructure, data, and security considerations.
• Establish and manage structured program governance, delivery frameworks, KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Coordinate multiple engineering/project teams and manage technical and cross-program dependencies.
• Drive technology modernization, transformation, migration, integration, and platform initiatives.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, delivery, operational, security, and regulatory risks.
• Manage program financials, benefits realization, resource planning, capacity, and delivery commitments.
• Provide executive-level reporting to steering committees and senior stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, dependencies, and key decisions.
• Ensure compliance with change management, architecture, audit, security, risk, and regulatory processes.
• Drive Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies across distributed technology teams.
• Facilitate technical discussions and ensure timely resolution of architecture, integration, infrastructure, and delivery blockers.
• Partner with engineering leaders to ensure adherence to SDLC, engineering standards, quality, security, scalability, and operational readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement in technology delivery, governance, and program management practices.

Required Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Program Management, Technical Program Management, Portfolio Management, or Technology Delivery.
• Strong experience delivering complex technology transformation programs within banking, financial services, or other regulated environments.
• Proven experience managing multiple technology workstreams involving engineering, architecture, cloud, infrastructure, data, security, and applications.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, application architecture, APIs, integrations, cloud technologies, and modern technology platforms.
• Strong risk, dependency, financial, resource, and vendor management skills.
• Experience working with senior executives, technology leadership, architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery models.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical dependencies and drive resolution of cross-team issues.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud transformation, application modernization, digital transformation, or platform modernization programs.
• Exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI, data platforms, DevOps, APIs, microservices, or enterprise integration.
• Experience with technology governance, architecture review, cybersecurity, and regulatory controls.
• PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or equivalent certification is a plus.
