Job summary

Ocean Lifespaces India Private Limited is seeking a Project Manager to oversee Civil & Interior Fit-Out contracts from initiation to close-out. You will plan, schedule, allocate resources, monitor progress, and lead design, site, procurement, and subcontractor teams.

Responsibilities include budget control, QA/QC adherence, safety compliance, and stakeholder communications to ensure timely project delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil and interior fit-out projects, delivering on time and within budget.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate design, site, procurement and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC, safety standards, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, execution, monitoring and delivery of C&I contracting projects.
• Develop project execution plans, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate between design, site, procurement and subcontracting teams.
• Lead project managers, engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and vendors.
• Monitor budgets, cost performance, variations and change orders with QS and commercial teams.
• Manage client expectations, approvals and project communications.
• Provide regular progress updates and resolve concerns.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, QA/QC procedures and safety standards.

Responsible for the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of C&I contracting projects. The role involves managing project scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, safety, and client relationships while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements and company standards.

Project Planning & Execution:

• Plan, organize, and manage Civil & interior fit-out projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop project execution plans, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Ensure smooth coordination between design, site, procurement, and subcontracting teams.

Project Coordination & Team Management:

• Lead and coordinate project managers, engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Allocate resources effectively to achieve project milestones.
• Conduct regular project meetings and track action items.

Cost & Budget Management:

• Monitor project budgets, expenses, and cost performance.
• Control variations, claims, and additional works.
• Coordinate with QS and commercial teams for cost optimization.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Manage client expectations, approvals, and project communications.
• Provide regular progress updates and resolve project concerns.

Quality & Safety Management:

• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, QA/QC procedures, and safety standards.
• Monitor site progress, workmanship quality, and project deliverables.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to maintain project standards.

Schedule & Progress Control:

• Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Identify delays, risks, and constraints and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure timely completion of project activities.

Procurement & Subcontract Management:

• Coordinate with procurement teams for timely material and equipment availability.
• Manage subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Review and approve project-related submissions and documentation.

Project Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain project records, reports, meeting minutes, and progress documentation.
• Prepare project status reports for management review.
• Ensure proper project handover and close-out documentation.
