Job summary

Sky Fit is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager Interior Projects to spearhead interior fit-out assignments from design finalization to site handover. You will manage planning, scheduling, procurement, and contractor coordination to deliver on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates bring 5–10 years of interior fit-out leadership, strong drawing interpretation (AutoCAD), and a track record of quality control and client liaison.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, management, and execution of interior projects, from design finalization to site handover.
• Develop comprehensive project schedules, detailed execution plans, and effective resource allocation strategies.
• Ensure the timely procurement and availability of all necessary materials on site.
• Oversee all site activities, including the direct supervision of contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and specialized vendors.
• Ensure strict compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality protocols, and site safety standards.
• Conduct continuous quality checks, manage the snag-list closure process, and finalize handover documentation.
• Act as the central coordinator between the design, sales, procurement, and execution teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Conduct regular site meetings and provide accurate progress updates to both management and clients.
• Manage client relations, effectively addressing concerns and processing change requests.
• Financial & Documentation Control.
• Monitor and control project timelines, budgets, and costs, with a focus on minimizing wastage and managing variations.
• Review and validate BOQs, cost estimates, purchase orders, and material schedules.
• Maintain meticulous project documentation, including all drawings, approvals, and official site reports.

This role requires robust site management expertise, strong technical proficiency, skilled vendor coordination, and a proven ability to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality specifications.

Core Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution:

• Lead the planning, management, and execution of interior projects, from design finalization to site handover.

Required Skills & Expertise

Technical & Execution Knowledge:

• In-depth understanding of interior execution processes, site management best practices, and project documentation.
• Sound knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and various execution techniques.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings (including AutoCAD), BOQs, and specifications.
• Familiarity with quality control standards and site safety regulations.

Management & Soft Skills:

• Exceptional coordination, leadership, and team management capabilities.
• Proven ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and client-handling skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, project scheduling, and reporting tools.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a relevant discipline.
• Experience: 5 to 10 years of professional experience in successfully managing interior fit-out or turnkey projects.
• Demonstrated experience in executing both residential and/or commercial interior projects.
• Established history of effective collaboration with contractors, vendors, and internal project teams.

Advantageous (Good to Have)

• Prior experience specifically with end-to-end (turnkey) interior projects.
• An existing strong network of reliable vendors and contractors.
• Exposure to project budgeting, client billing, and advanced cost control mechanisms.
• Capacity to maintain high performance under tight timelines and high-pressure work environments.
