Job summary

Siemens Energy India is seeking a seasoned project leadership professional to own and drive high-voltage substation projects from kickoff through PAC/FAC in India. The role requires extensive coordination across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, installation and commissioning to ensure timely energization and closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
• 8+ years of experience in large-scale projects.
• Experience with GIS/AIS substations and EPC contracts.
• Proficiency with Primavera/MS Project and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project delivery from kickoff to PAC/FAC.
• Lead engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Monitor schedule, cost, cash flow and margins.
• Coordinate with utilities, consultants, OEMs, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor risks, safety and quality performance.
• Lead progress reviews and customer meetings.
• Manage change orders, claims and contractual obligations.
• Ensure energization and project closeout.

About the team

Our product portfolio includes AIS (upto 800 kV), GIS (upto 420 kV), Power Transformers (upto 765 kV, 500 MVA), Reactors (upto 765 kV), Traction Transformers (upto 33 kV, 10 MVA). We provide EPC for high and extra high voltage projects pertinent to AIS/GIS, Flexible Alternating Current Transmission System (FACTS) devices and High Voltage Direct Current Voltage Source Converter (HVDC VSC) technology.
