Job summary

Sarvatra Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage end-to-end delivery of software projects and products in the Payments and FinTech domain.

The role involves project planning, resource management, stakeholder coordination, delivery tracking, risk management, customer engagement, and ensuring projects are delivered within agreed timelines, scope, and quality standards. This Pune-based role expects delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering software projects and products.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to combine technical, functional and business understanding to meet customer expectations.
• Experience in process management and project governance.
• Experience managing delivery of multiple products/projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, progress monitoring, budget management and milestone tracking.
• Experience in Payments/FinTech domain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements by reviewing documents prepared by Business Analysts.
• Define and document project scope, including in-scope and out-of-scope activities.
• Develop end-to-end project schedules covering requirements gathering, development, testing, implementation, go-live, and production support.
• Create and maintain Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for all phases of the SDLC.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure delivery milestones are achieved within agreed schedules.
• Conduct project kick-off meetings and weekly project status meetings with stakeholders.
• Monitor and control project progress through coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Identify project issues, risks, and dependencies and work with technical teams to develop solutions.
• Build strong relationships with project teams, internal stakeholders, and customers.
• Define acceptance criteria before project kick-off and obtain customer sign-off.
• Plan and allocate project resources based on project requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to improve cost efficiency and reduce delivery timelines.
• Prepare and communicate project delivery/status reports to internal stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects/products simultaneously while ensuring delivery quality.
• Participate in audits conducted by regulatory authorities, customers, and FinTech ecosystem entities.
• Ensure compliance with organizational processes, governance standards and delivery methodologies.

Desired Candidate Profile

Technical & Functional Knowledge:

• Strong technical knowledge with coding experience in any technology; Java experience is preferred.
• Proven experience in delivering software projects and products.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to combine technical expertise, functional knowledge, and business understanding to meet customer expectations.
• Experience in process management and project governance.
