Job summary

SV Management Consultants seeks a senior Project Manager to lead new fabrication line setups for automotive components. You will drive end-to-end roadmaps, capex planning, and supplier orchestration across India, Europe, and the Middle East.

The role requires steering cross-functional teams to meet stringent OEM standards and managing global stakeholder milestones. You will oversee CFTs, implement robotic welding and inspection upgrades, and coordinate with international customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Must have end-to-end European project execution experience.
• Experience handling Catia/AutoCAD for layout and ergonomics.
• Proficient with MS Office and SAP for project timeline and budget tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end fabrication line setups for customers, including greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Define roadmaps, budgets and capex for global welding lines and equipment.
• Coordinate global supplier orchestration and timely deliveries with overseas teams.
• Interface with global OEMs to meet milestones and expectations.
• Manage cross-border communication, lead CFTs and ensure OEM standards.
• Oversee advanced technology integration including robotic welding and automated inspection.
• Track risk, lifecycle management and ensure launch timelines.
• Travel internationally up to 30-40% for reviews and approvals.

Hiring for Leading Group in Auto Components Manufacturing Group.

Role & Responsibilities- Responsible for Leading New Fabrication line setups for Customers.

• Strategic Project Planning: Define the end-to-end roadmap for greenfield and brownfield weld line setups, ensuring alignment with zero defect manufacturing vision.
• Sourcing & Purchase of Equipment’s and machineries (Capex) required for projects from European Market and follow-ups for deliveries.
• Global Facility Commissioning: Development & Commissioning of high-tech manufacturing lines in domestic and international manufacturing locations (India, CZ & UAE).
• Global Supplier Orchestration: Serve as the primary technical lead for the global machine and line builder to ensure that the equipment meets technical specifications.
• Strategic Customer Interface: Act as the face of Organization for technical milestones with global OEMs. Ensuring Customer expectations are met.
• Cross Border Collaboration: Manage communication across time zone and culture, bridging the gap between the Customer, Overseas team, local India team and global equipment/line builder to ensure seamless execution.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Form and lead CFT including Product Design, Production, and Quality to ensure new lines meet stringent OEM Standards.
• Advanced Technology Integration: Oversee the implementation of fully robotic welding line, Technology upgradation, and automated inspection systems (3D scanning/X-ray) for BIW and Chassis.
• Budget & Vendor Management: Preparing budget and executing the capex investments with global machine tool builders and system integrators.
• Risk & Life Cycle management: Proactively identify project risks and implement robust mitigation strategies to maintain strict launch timelines.

Mandatory Skills-

• Mandatory European Project Execution Experience
• The preferred candidate should have either direct overseas work experience in Europe or substantial experience executing end-to-end projects for European customers, plants, or joint ventures
• Software Proficiency
• Experience in MS Office, SAP for project timeline and budget tracking.

Ability to handle Catia / Auto Cad for layout, ergonomics & flow optimization.

Travel Readiness:

Explicitly state the requirement for international travel up to 30 -40% for supplier review, Product or process approval & Customer meetings.

Candidate Profile

BE/ B. Tech in Mechanical or equivalent with 15-22 Years of required experience in handling new projects setups preferably for fabrication lines/ other equivalent projects.

Monitor installation and commissioning of machines and equipment’s.

Should have setup projects acting as a lead and have manage cross functional team.

Good knowledge of Robotic line setups with Automation & PLCs.

Sound Knowledge of Industrial Engineering,

• Focus on delivering the project within timeline.
• Ready to travel to international locations preferably European countries.
• Communication skill in German language will be added advantage.
