Job summary

Aegis Automation India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Operations for Fire Protection Systems to lead high-rise FPS projects. The role requires strong expertise in sprinkler, hydrant, pump room, and fire alarm coordination, plus planning, billing, client management and team leadership capabilities.

The ideal candidate will own the complete execution from BOQ to NOC, ensure timely delivery, safety, quality and commercial closure across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Must have strong execution experience in High-Rise Fire Protection System projects.
• Expertise in Sprinkler, Hydrant, Pump Room, and Fire Alarm Coordination.
• Hands-on experience with Testing & Commissioning.
• Practical exposure to JMS/RAB Billing.
• Client handling and project coordination experience.
• Proven capability in managing multiple project sites and large execution teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end FPS project execution for Hydrant, Sprinkler, Pump Room.
• Manage sites/towers with targets: installation progress, manpower productivity, timelines.
• Own project planning, baseline schedule, milestones, and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate material planning, indenting, vendor coordination, site stock, consumption control.
• Drive quality, safety, and regulatory compliance; prepare method statements and checklists.
• Oversee JMS/RAB billing readiness: measurements, client sign-offs, invoice enablement.
• Communicate with clients: meetings, progress updates, escalation, handover docs.
• Develop site engineers and supervisors; ensure training and productivity improvements.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Operations (Fire Protection Systems) to lead the execution of multiple high-rise Fire Protection System projects.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Sprinkler Systems, Hydrant Systems, Pump Rooms, Fire Alarm Coordination, Testing & Commissioning, along with excellent project planning, billing, client management, and team leadership capabilities.

The role demands complete ownership of project execution—from BOQ to NOC—while ensuring timely delivery, quality, safety, productivity, and commercial closure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of FPS projects: Hydrant, Sprinkler, Pump Room. FAPA // Starting BOQ to NOC.
• Manage sites / towers with clear targets: installation progress, manpower productivity, and timeline adherence.
• Own project planning & tracking: baseline schedule, daily/weekly targets, constraints removal, and milestone closures.
• Ensure material planning & control: indenting, vendor coordination with procurement, site stock tracking, and consumption control.
• Drive quality & compliance: method statements, checklists, inspections, snag closure, and documentation.
• Enforce safety culture: tool-box talks, PPE compliance, work permits, safe lifting/scaffolding controls, and incident reporting.
• Coordinate with design team for RFIs, drawing revisions, and technical clarifications; ensure “Approved/GFC” drawings on site.
• Own JMS/RAB & billing readiness: measurement coordination, client sign-offs, internal verification, and invoice enablement.
• Handle client communication: site meetings, progress updates, escalation management, and handover documentation.
• Manage and develop site engineers / supervisors / fitters / welders / riggers: allocation, training, productivity improvement, discipline.
• Monitor WIP, billable vs non-billable, wastage minimization, and floor-wise reconciliation.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience

• 5–15+ years of experience in Fire Protection System project execution.
• Proven experience handling multiple high-rise residential and commercial projects.
• Strong exposure to turnkey FPS project execution.

Mandatory Requirements

Candidates must have:

• Strong execution experience in High-Rise Fire Protection System projects.
• Expertise in Sprinkler, Hydrant, Pump Room, and Fire Alarm Coordination.
• Hands-on experience with Testing & Commissioning.
• Practical exposure to JMS/RAB Billing.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Additional certifications in Fire Protection Systems, Project Management, or Safety will be an added advantage.
