Role & responsibilities
Purpose of the Role

To lead and manage facility infrastructure projects across PAN India, including office fit-outs, expansions, renovations, relocations, workplace upgrades and infrastructure modernization. The role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within approved budgets, and in alignment with business, operational, quality and compliance requirements.

Role Requirements
  • Education: BE / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in facility infrastructure project management, corporate real estate, workplace services, construction or related areas.
  • Certification: PMP certification preferred / certified.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel across PAN India locations based on business and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
1. Infrastructure Project Management
  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of facility infrastructure projects, including office fit-outs, expansions, renovations, relocations and workplace upgrades.
  • Develop project scope, budgets, timelines, risk registers, resource plans and execution schedules.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to defined quality standards.
  • Drive project governance, milestone reviews, issue tracking and timely management reporting.
2. Facilities & Building Systems Management
  • Oversee installation, maintenance and optimization of critical infrastructure such as HVAC, electrical systems, UPS, DG, fire & life safety systems, access control, security systems, water/wastewater systems and BMS.
  • Ensure infrastructure reliability, operational readiness and seamless transition from project execution to operations.
  • Coordinate commissioning, handover documentation and asset readiness for operational use.
3. Vendor & Contractor Management
  • Manage consultants, architects, contractors and service providers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support preparation of technical specifications, BOQs, bid evaluation and vendor onboarding in coordination with Procurement.
  • Monitor contractor performance, adherence to contracts, SLAs, schedules, safety and quality standards.
  • Coordinate AMC and preventive maintenance programs for relevant facility assets as part of project handover and operations readiness.
4. Budgeting & Cost Optimization
  • Prepare and manage project CAPEX and OPEX budgets.
  • Track project expenditure, forecasts, commitments and cost controls.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities, resource optimization and value engineering initiatives without compromising quality, safety or business continuity.
5. Compliance, EHS & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with applicable statutory regulations, building codes, fire safety requirements, corporate guidelines and EHS standards.
  • Coordinate permits, approvals, inspections, audits and regulatory documentation wherever applicable.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans for project execution, safety and business continuity.
6. Stakeholder Management
  • Partner with Business, HR, IT, Procurement, Security, EHS and external stakeholders to understand and deliver infrastructure requirements.
  • Provide regular project updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Manage change management, communication and transition activities during project execution and handover.
7. Space Planning & Workplace Strategy
  • Plan office layouts, seating capacity, workspace utilization and workplace upgrade requirements.
  • Support business growth initiatives, real estate consolidation and workplace transformation projects.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of facilities and alignment with employee experience objectives.
8. Operational Excellence & Sustainability
  • Establish project governance, documentation, SOPs, checklists and reporting mechanisms.
  • Monitor KPIs related to project delivery, service quality, uptime, customer satisfaction and compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement, sustainability, energy efficiency, water conservation and waste reduction initiatives within facility infrastructure projects.
