Job summary

Black Box in Mumbai is seeking a Project Lead/Manager to drive end-to-end ICT infrastructure and ELV projects, coordinating internal teams, vendors and customers to deliver on time and within budget.

You will develop detailed plans, manage risks, perform site surveys, read AutoCAD layouts, and ensure quality, safety and regulatory compliance. Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ELV solutions, structured cabling standards & active networking required.
• Ability to read AutoCAD layouts and verify on site; prepare red-line drawings.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare/verify BOQ; ensure accuracy.
• Hands-on termination of Cat6/Cat6A and use of testing equipment.
• Conduct quality audits of cable installation, labeling and testing.
• Strong email and spoken communication; OEM certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, deliverables, and objectives with clients.
• Develop detailed project plans with schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resources.
• Identify risks and create mitigation/contingency plans.
• Manage end-to-end ELV projects from initiation to handover.
• Monitor progress, KPIs, and ensure timelines and budgets.
• Maintain project documentation, charters, and sign-offs.
• Act as single point of contact for clients, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate regular reviews and status updates.
• Ensure proactive communication and escalation handling.
• Estimate, allocate, and manage resources.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct client acceptance tests and close out reports.
• Cover project planning, execution, stakeholder management, and documentation.

The Project Lead/Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of ICT infrastructure and solution projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with quality and client expectations. The role involves managing multiple stakeholders, including internal teams, vendors, and customers, while ensuring adherence to organizational and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of ELV solutions, structured cabling standards & Active Networking etc
• Knowledge of different ELV systems like CCTV, ACS, BMS, Rodent, Vesda, Intrusion Alarm System, PA, FA, G ate Barrier & Parking Management
• Knowledge in EIA/TIA 568 Cabling Standards
• Able to read AutoCAD layout drawing and verify at site and prepare red-line drawing.
• Conduct Site survey and prepare BOQ and Verify BOQ prepared by others.
• Hands on Experience in Termination of Cat6, Cat6A Modules, Experience in handling different types of Testing Equipment, downloading test results, analyzing reports and preparing documents.
• Conduct Quality Audit of Cable Installation, Termination, dressing and labeling etc.
• Communication Skills – Speaking and Email Communication.
• Prefer to have OEM Certifications
