Job summary

Career Tree Hr Solutions in Navi Mumbai seeks an experienced ELV Project Lead for data center projects. You will coordinate with Lead MEP, review designs, and supervise installation of structured cabling, CCTV, access control, PA/VA, and fire alarm interfaces to ensure uptime.

You will manage vendors, lead testing and commissioning, ensure QA/QC and compliance, and align ELV work with MEP master schedules. Only candidates with Tier III/IV data center experience and BIM integration skills should

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of ELV systems in data centers.
• Experience in Tier III / Tier IV projects.
• Knowledge of system integration with MEP.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Lead MEP and report project status, risks, and progress.
• Review and approve ELV design documents: shop drawings, IFC drawings, as-built drawings.
• Lead ELV testing and commissioning, including cable certification and IST readiness.
• Manage installation of ELV systems: structured cabling, CCTV, ACS, IDS, PA/VA, fire alarm interfaces.
• Ensure integration with BMS, electrical, and HVAC systems; coordinate signal exchange.
• Supervise site teams and subcontractors; ensure adherence to QA/QC standards.
• Develop ELV schedules integrated with MEP master schedule and monitor progress.
• Identify ELV-related risks and develop mitigation strategies in coordination with Lead MEP.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

Preference for Datacenter Project Experience

1. Coordination with Lead MEP

• Report project status, risks, and progress to Lead MEP

2. Design & Engineering

• Review and approve ELV design documents:
• Shop drawings
• IFC drawings
• Red-line & as-built drawings
• Ensure compliance with:
• TIA-942
• Uptime Tier standards
• NFPA / NBC / local codes
• Coordinate with consultants and BIM teams for clash-free design

3. Project Execution

• Manage installation of all ELV systems:
• Structured cabling (fiber & copper)
• CCTV, ACS, IDS
• PA/VA systems
• Fire alarm interfaces
• Ensure alignment with MEP installation sequencing
• Supervise site teams and subcontractors

4. Integration with MEP Systems

• Ensure integration between ELV and:
• BMS (Building Management System)
• Electrical systems
• HVAC systems
• Coordinate signal exchange and control logic
• Support Integrated Systems Testing (IST) with MEP teams

5. Vendor & Contractor Management

• Manage ELV subcontractors and OEMs
• Conduct technical evaluations and approvals
• Ensure adherence to project schedule and QA standards

6. Testing & Commissioning

• Lead ELV testing:
• Cable certification (Fluke/OTDR)
• System functionality tests
• Coordinate with Lead MEP for:
• IST execution
• Tier certification readiness
• Support third-party commissioning agents

7. Quality & Compliance

• Implement QA/QC procedures aligned with MEP standards
• Ensure documentation:
• ITPs
• Method statements
• Test reports
• Maintain compliance with client and statutory requirements

8. Planning & Cost Control

• Develop ELV schedules integrated with MEP master schedule
• Track progress and report variances to Lead MEP
• Monitor procurement and cost efficiency

9. Risk Management

• Identify ELV-related risks impacting MEP systems
• Develop mitigation strategies in coordination with Lead MEP
• Ensure redundancy and uptime compliance

10. Team Leadership

• Lead ELV engineers, supervisors, and QA/QC teams
• Coordinate closely with:
• Electrical managers
• Mechanical managers
• Train and mentor team members

11. Client & Stakeholder Interface

• Support Lead MEP in client presentations and reviews
• Participate in:
• Design reviews
• Progress meetingsProvide ELV updates and technical clarifications
