Job summary

AECOM is seeking a seasoned ELV systems lead to design and deliver end-to-end solutions for complex facilities. You will oversee Fire Detection, CCTV, Access Control, PAVA, structured cabling, and integration with BMS/IBMS/DCIM, ensuring seamless cross-disciplinary coordination and adherence to international and local standards.

The role requires 20+ years of ELV design experience, data center exposure, IP-based systems, and a track record in consultancy or EPC environments.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of ELV design and delivery experience.
• Experience on data centers and large commercial, healthcare, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Exposure to IP-based and integrated ELV systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and engineering of ELV systems.
• Develop and review Basis of Design, specifications, drawings, and BOQs.
• Coordinate with MEP, IT, Architecture, Civil, and Client teams.
• Review and approve vendor submittals, technical proposals, and shop drawings.
• Support construction, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA, IEC, IS, NBC, BS, TIA/EIA standards.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level ELV engineers.
• Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and technical workshops.

Role & responsibilities

Lead end-to-end design and engineering of ELV systems, including:

• Fire Detection & Alarm Systems (FDAS)
• CCTV & Video Surveillance
• Access Control Systems
• Public Address & Voice Evacuation (PAVA)
• Structured Cabling (Copper & Fiber)
• BMS / IBMS / DCIM integration
• Intrusion Detection, Perimeter Security/Physical Security
• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ELV systems across projects.
• Develop and review Basis of Design (BOD),specifications, drawings, and BOQs.
• Coordinate with MEP, IT, Architecture, Civil, and Client teams for seamless system integration.
• Review and approve vendor submittals, technical proposals, and shop drawings.
• Support construction, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with international and local standards (NFPA, IEC, IS, NBC, BS, TIA/EIA).
• Identify technical risks and implement value engineering and mitigation strategies.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level ELV engineers.
• Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and technical workshops.
• Support proposals, estimates, and business development activities when required.

Preferred candidate profile

• 20+ years of experience in ELV system design and delivery.
• Experience on Data center is must alongwith large commercial, healthcare, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong exposure to IP-based and integrated ELV systems.
• Experience working in consultancy and/or EPC environments.
• BIM/Revit exposure preferred.
