Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager – Compliance to lead and manage complex compliance-focused projects and programmes from initiation through successful delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Project Management, Compliance, Risk, Financial Services, Technology, or other regulated industries, along with exposure to Cloud environments, SaaS implementations, security, privacy, and regulatory frameworks.

This role requires the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, drive project governance, oversee change management processes, ensure compliance controls are effectively implemented, and deliver projects within agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

• Lead and manage compliance projects and programmes from initiation through delivery, ensuring adherence to agreed scope, timelines, quality standards, and regulatory expectations.
• Develop detailed project plans, delivery roadmaps, governance structures, milestones, and reporting frameworks.
• Define project tasks, allocate responsibilities, monitor progress, and manage dependencies across project teams.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, R&D, Operations, Implementation, Business Analysis, Compliance, and other stakeholders.
• Proactively identify, manage, and resolve project issues, risks, and dependencies.
• Provide clear visibility of project issues and resolutions to relevant stakeholders and elevate matters where required.
• Manage project scope, scope changes, priorities, timelines, and delivery expectations.
• Drive project implementation involving Cloud solution migrations and SaaS implementations, ensuring compliance controls are effectively incorporated.
• Ensure successful end-to-end delivery across the complete project lifecycle.

Compliance Project Management

• Interpret client and business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable project deliverables.
• Apply established project management methodologies, processes, tools, techniques, and templates effectively.
• Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, risk registers, and governance documentation.
• Monitor, manage, and communicate project progress to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure SaaS and technology solution implementations comply with relevant security, privacy, regulatory, and internal control frameworks.
• Ensure alignment with industry best practices, internal processes, standards, and project governance requirements.
• Partner closely with Compliance and Implementation teams to ensure timely and successful project execution.
• Manage all aspects of change governance, including:
  • Change approvals
  • Documentation
  • Readiness assessments
  • Impact assessments
  • Risk evaluation
  • Compliance sign-offs
• Support the effective implementation of compliance requirements across technology delivery initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned projects.
• Represent the organization or business unit in internal, external, and customer forums.
• Build strong working relationships with senior business, technology, compliance, and customer stakeholders.
• Provide accurate and timely project status updates at agreed reporting frequencies.
• Influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders by providing clear communication, project insights, and recommendations.
• Prepare concise and effective:
• Project status reports
• Executive updates
• Risk summaries
• Issue reports
• Governance reports
• Steering committee presentations
• Facilitate workshops, steering committees, governance meetings, and cross-functional project discussions.
• Ensure effective communication and alignment across all project stakeholders.

Process Improvement & Governance

• Assess existing compliance and project delivery processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Strengthen internal controls, project documentation, governance practices, and audit readiness.
• Support the development, implementation, and rollout of compliance frameworks, standards, policies, and best practices.
• Measure the quality and efficiency of project delivery and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Proactively capture lessons learned and provide recommendations for future projects.
• Contribute to improvements in project management methodologies, processes, tools, and delivery standards.
• Assess project outcomes and provide feedback on delivery performance and results.
• Develop and implement frameworks, standards, and best practices for compliance across Cloud, SaaS, and AI-related initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7-14+ years of proven experience in Project Management within Compliance, Risk, Financial Services, Technology, or another regulated industry.
• Strong understanding of regulatory environments, compliance requirements, and project management frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects involving Cloud environments and SaaS implementations.
• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects from initiation through delivery.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end project delivery lifecycles.
• Proven experience with formal Change Management and Change Governance processes.
• Ability to manage project scope, schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations effectively.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, influencing, and presentation skills.
• Strong ability to communicate complex regulatory and technical information clearly to different audiences.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
