Job summary

Noventiq in Mumbai is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of cloud infrastructure, migrations, modernization, app development and data/AI/ML projects. You will manage the full lifecycle, coordinate across cloud and data teams, and ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.

• 7–9 years IT project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Cloud Infrastructure, Migration, Modernization, app development, data and analytics projects.
• Manage complete project lifecycle: discovery, requirements, design, development, testing, migration and go-live.
• Migrate workloads across public clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP) and private clouds.
• Prepare detailed project plans, WBS, resource plans and schedules; monitor milestones.
• Establish RAID, change, dependency tracking and executive reporting.
• Own scope, manage changes and commercial impact through governance.
• Drive stakeholder management across customer leadership, architects, vendors and teams.
• Conduct governance meetings, status reviews and executive updates.
• Prepare project docs: charters, plans, status reports, risk registers, release and closure plans.
• Identify risks, constraints and escalations; drive mitigation strategies.
• Manage multiple engagements with delivery quality and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Solution/Cloud Architects, Data/AI teams, DevOps and security teams.

Job Description

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Migration, Cloud Modernization, Application Development, Data Engineering, Analytics and AI/ML projects, ensuring successful delivery within agreed scope, schedule, budget and quality .
• Manage the complete project lifecycle including Discovery, Requirement Gathering, Solution Design, Development, Infrastructure Setup, Testing, Migration, Cutover, Go-Live, Hypercare and Project Closure.
• Manage migration of workloads across Public Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure and Google Cloud) as well as Private Cloud environments.
• Prepare detailed project plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), resource plans and delivery schedules while monitoring project execution against defined milestones.
• Establish project governance frameworks including RAID management, change management, dependency tracking, milestone reviews and executive reporting.
• Own project scope, identify scope changes proactively, assess commercial impact and manage change requests through defined governance processes.
• Drive effective stakeholder management across customer leadership, technical teams, architects, vendors and internal management to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular project governance meetings, status reviews, steering committee meetings and executive updates with customers.
• Prepare project documentation including Project Charters, Project Plans, Weekly Status Reports, Minutes of Meeting, Risk Registers, Release Plans, Cutover Plans and Closure Reports.
• Identify delivery risks, resource constraints, technical dependencies and customer escalations proactively, driving mitigation plans to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously while maintaining delivery quality and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Solution Architects, Cloud Architects, Application Development Teams, Data Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Infrastructure Teams, Security Teams and Customer Stakeholders.
• Support project estimation, effort planning, resource forecasting and project transition activities during project initiation.
• Monitor project financials including milestone-based billing readiness, resource utilization, delivery progress and budget adherence.
• Ensure adherence to organizational delivery processes, quality standards and project governance frameworks.

Required Skill Set And Experience

• Experience: 7–9 years in IT Project Management with at least 3 years managing Cloud Infrastructure or Cloud Migration projects.
• Proven experience managing multiple enterprise cloud transformation projects simultaneously.
• Experience delivering projects using Agile, Scrum, Waterfall and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Migration, Application Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Data Engineering and AI/ML project delivery methodologies.
• Experience managing Fixed Price, Time & Material and Managed Services engagements.
• Good understanding of AWS Cloud services and cloud architecture concepts.
• Knowledge of Cloud Migration methodologies, Landing Zone concepts, Disaster Recovery, Security and Infrastructure deployment.
• Experience delivering enterprise Application Development, Data Engineering, Data Analytics or AI/ML implementation projects will be an added advantage.
• Strong expertise in Project Planning, Scheduling, WBS preparation, Resource Planning and Dependency Management.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional project teams comprising 10–30 resources across Infrastructure, Development, Data, QA, DevOps and Business functions.
• Experience managing medium to large enterprise projects with project values ranging from USD 50K to USD 150K or equivalent, or managing multiple concurrent engagements.
• Experience in RAID Management, Change Management, Scope Management and Project Governance.
• Experience in customer-facing delivery with the ability to independently manage project governance and executive stakeholder communication.
• Good understanding of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies with practical Scrum exposure.
• Hands-on experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Zoho Projects, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Excellent documentation, reporting and presentation skills.
