Job summary

Embassy Services in Hyderabad is seeking a seasoned Project Manager (Construction) to lead complex corporate interiors projects from planning to post-construction. You will plan activities, review designs with consultants, onboard required experts, and coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet scope, budget, and milestones.

Ideal candidates have 10 years of construction experience including 5+ years in project management, with strong knowledge of design, tendering, budgeting

Qualifications

  • B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
  • 10 years of construction experience, Corporate Interiors.
  • Minimum 5+ years as a project manager or equivalent.
  • Independently managed pre-construction, construction and post-construction scopes.
  • Strong understanding of project design, tendering, budgeting, planning and construction with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, standards, regulations and codes.
  • PM certification or professional memberships is optional.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, organizing, scheduling activities and monitoring progress, quality and safety at the site.
  • Review designs and quantity take-offs with associate consultants for value engineering, negotiations and finalizations.
  • Assist clients in onboarding consultants as per project requirements.
  • Liaise with consultants and stakeholders to collate the design brief and manage meetings.
  • Identify project risks and formulate mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with base-builder during design development and track deliverables.
  • Submit daily, weekly and monthly reports to clients/consultants.
  • Contract and vendor management for smooth functioning.
  • Supervise works and notify any deviation from agreed parameters.
  • Prepare and review work measurements, certify bills, invoicing and receivables.

Job description

  • Assisting clients in onboarding consultants as per project requirements.

  • Identifying the project Risks and formulating the mitigation strategies.
  • Coordination with base-builder during design development and tracking the deliverables agreed.
  • Submitting daily, Weekly, and Monthly reports to clients/consultants.
  • Contract and vendor management for swift and smooth functioning.
  • Supervising the works of all stakeholders and notifying of any anticipated deviation from agreed parameters.
  • Preparation and review of work measurements, certification of bills, invoicing, and receivables of associated vendors.
REQUIREMENTS
  • B.Tech Electrical Engineer/Civil Engineer
  • 10 years of successful and progressively responsible construction experience. Corporate Interiors
  • Minimum of 5+ years of project manager / project management experience or its position equivalent.
  • Should have independently handled a project with complete pre-con, construction & Post-construction scope
  • Strong understanding of project design, tendering, budgeting, planning and construction, and the collaborative process between architect, general contractor / contractors, and client.
  • Working knowledge of the construction process, its standards, methods, assemblies, plans, specifications, regulations, and codes.
  • Working knowledge of accepted accounting principles and project cost-accounting practices.
