Job summary

Digital Edge seeks an experienced IBMS Lead for executing ELV and IBMS across multiple data center projects in Asia Pacific. You will lead site teams, coordinate with consultants and OEMs, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery aligning with design specs and standards.

The role requires 15+ years in data centers or ELV/IBMS, hands-on commissioning knowledge, and strong leadership to drive project success and safe operations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Mission Critical Data Centers, Building Automation, IBMS, or ELV systems.
• Strong experience in end-to-end execution and delivery of Smart packages of hyperscale or enterprise data center projects.
• Hands-on knowledge of commissioning and Integrated System Testing (IST).
• Experience in leading teams.
• Experience in design review, procurement support, and construction management.
• Knowledge of BMS, EPMS, HVAC Automation, Fire Alarm, VESDA, Access Control, CCTV, Networking, and Structured Cabling.
• Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP, OPC, and MQTT communication protocols.
• Excellent project planning, risk management, and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end execution of Data Center IBMS and ELV systems across multiple projects.
• Manage complete site execution activities, installation quality, progress monitoring, and project delivery.
• Supervise site engineers and subcontractors.
• Ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Monitor progress and resolve technical and execution-related issues.
• Act as the technical interface with consultants, PMCs, and OEMs.
• Coordinate with design consultants for timely approvals and issue resolution.
• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals of Smart Packages.
• Coordinate with MEP consultants and design teams to ensure constructability.
• Review system architecture, network topology, control philosophy, and interface requirements.

What we need:

The IBMS Lead shall be responsible for execution of ELV, BMs & ICT packages & Support commissioning, for successful delivery of all IBMS, ELV, and Building Automation Systems across multiple data center projects. The role will manage ELV,ICT& BMS execution teams, coordinate with consultants, OEMs, contractors, and vendors, and ensure assignments are delivered safely, on schedule& in compliance with design specifications and industry standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Project Execution: IBMS & ELV
• End-to-end execution of Data Center IBMS and ELV systems across multiple projects.
• Manage complete site execution activities, installation quality, progress monitoring, and project delivery.

• Lead and mentor Site Engineers and Vendors.
• Allocate manpower and monitor productivity across multiple projects.
• Conduct regular technical reviews, progress meetings, and performance evaluations.
• Client & Stakeholder Management (Must)
• Act as the technical interface with consultants, PMCs, and OEMs.
• Conduct project review meetings of ELV & IBMs vendors
• Coordinate with design consultants for timely approvals and issue resolution.
• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals of Smart Packages .
• Coordinate with MEP consultants and design teams to ensure constructability.
• Review system architecture, network topology, control philosophy, and interface requirements.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements.
• Installation Quality Management
• Monitor installation activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and standards.
• Conduct quality inspections and site audits.
• Ensure proper cable routing, panel installation, network infrastructure, and field device installation.
• Manage OEMs, System Integrators, Contractors, and Service Providers.
• Resolve technical and commercial issues.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and SLAs.

Actively champion and implement the organization’s policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting, legal, and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate:
