Job summary

Australian Foods India Pvt Ltd. (Cookie Man) is seeking a Project Manager in Ambattur, Chennai to lead end-to-end store openings, renovations, and fit-out projects across malls and airports.

You will coordinate with mall management, airport authorities, contractors and consultants to ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery. The role requires 10–20 years of experience in retail or commercial fit-out projects, strong project management, budgeting and risk management skills, and hands-on

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil/Construction/Architecture/Engineering.
• Experience in retail, mall, airport or commercial fit-out projects preferred.
• Strong project management, coordination, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end new store openings, renovation and fit-out projects across malls and airports.
• Coordinate with mall management, airport authorities, contractors, vendors and consultants.
• Supervise civil, interior, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire & MEP works.
• Review shop drawings, layouts, BOQs and technical specifications.
• Monitor project timeline, budget, quality and safety.
• Obtain required statutory approvals, NOCs and work permits.
• Manage contractors, quotations, work orders and project bills.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure timely snag closure and handover.
• Manage renovation and maintenance projects with minimum business disruption.
• Prepare regular project status and cost reports.
• Ensure contractors comply with safety rules and mall/airport regulations.
• Maintain project documentation, drawings, approvals, contracts, and completion records.
• Travel to different mall and airport locations as required.
