Alfa Laval Mid Europe GmbH in Satara is hiring a Project Manager to lead and execute multiple projects from concept to handover. You will drive planning, cost control, risk mitigation and ensure compliance while coordinating with factories and regional teams.

English proficiency and strong leadership are essential for success. The role emphasizes end-to-end project management, stakeholder engagement, and delivering on time within budget, contributing to Alfa Laval's sustainable engineering

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 to 20 years of experience in project management or related field.
• Civil/structural project management experience is preferred.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) and able to interact with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Long-term infra planning and systems for multiple projects management.
• Project and construction management across lifecycle.
• Coordinate to maintain projects with cost control, risk mitigation, on-time completion, EHS and quality.
• End-to-end project management from concept through handover with strict capex and timelines.
• Manage project life cycle: feasibility, business case, capex approvals, basic/detailed engineering, procurement, construction, handover.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and approvals.
• Map progress with look-ahead, action tracking, proactive risk escalation and mitigation.
• Team building and training to upgrade skills.
• Present project deliverables and roadmaps to management.
• Control project costs and variances; explore value engineering opportunities.

Position / About the Job

In this job the Project manager would be responsible for:

• Long Term Infra Planning, developing systems and processes for Multiple Projects management
• Project & construction management
• Effective Coordination to establish and Maintain Projects with cost Control, Risk mitigation, Ontime completion, EHS and Quality
• End to end Project management from concept to handover with strict Capex and timeline
• Responsible for project life cycle - feasibility study, business case presentation, capex approvals, basic and detailed engineering, procurement. construction management and handover with documentations
• Ensuring compliance to all Statutory requirements and its approvals
• Mapping Project progress with key focus on look ahead, action required, proactively escalating risk, mitigation plan
• Team building, trainings for upgradation of team skills
• Presentation of complete Project deliverables, Road map to management
• Managing project cost control, spend and variance
• Opportunistic for Value engineering and usher team vigilance throughout project lifecycle
• Support factories or region India with significant projects
• Has the authority to make decisions and manage the allocated resources, within given time frame and budget

What you can be?

• Civil Engineering graduate, having relevant experience in the same field
• Minimum 15 Years to 20 Years of experience
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Active Black Belt or similar
• Drawing reading and understanding of GD &T
• Project management experience with reporting metrics of cost, time and other resources
