Job summary

Alfa Laval Corporate AB is seeking a Project Manager based at Satara to execute and manage projects or sub-projects with a strong impact on the business. The role involves long-term planning, project and construction management, and ensuring on-time delivery within budget.

You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, maintain cost control, assess risks, and ensure compliance with EHS and quality standards. Fluency in English and stakeholder engagement are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering graduate with relevant experience
• 15–20 years of experience
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Active Black Belt or similar
• Reading drawings and understanding GD&T
• Project management experience with reporting of cost, time and resources
• Influence factory management teams and stakeholders
• Self-motivated with strong decision-making under pressure

Responsibilities

• Long term Infra Planning, developing systems and processes for multiple projects management
• Project and construction management
• Effective coordination to establish and maintain projects with cost control, risk mitigation, on-time completion, EHS and quality
• End-to-end project management from concept to handover with strict capex and timeline
• Responsible for project life cycle – feasibility study, business case, capex approvals, engineering, procurement, construction management and handover
• Ensuring compliance to statutory requirements and approvals
• Mapping project progress with look-ahead, risk escalation and mitigation planning
• Team building and trainings for skill upgrades
• Presentation of complete project deliverables and road map to management
• Managing project cost control, spend and variance
• Value engineering and vigilant project lifecycle monitoring
• Support factories or regions in India with significant projects

The position / About the Job

In this job the Project manager would be responsible for:

• Long Term Infra Planning, developing systems and processes for Multiple Projects management
• Project & construction management
• Effective Coordination to establish and Maintain Projects with cost Control, Risk mitigation, Ontime completion, EHS and Quality.
• End to end Project management from concept to handover with strict Capex and timeline.
• Responsible for project life cycle - feasibility study, business case presentation, capex approvals, basic and detailed engineering, procurement. construction management and handover with documentations
• Ensuring compliance to all Statutory requirements and its approvals
• Mapping Project progress with key focus on look ahead, action required, proactively escalating risk, mitigation plan.
• Team building, trainings for upgradation of team skills
• Presentation of complete Project deliverables, Road map to management
• Managing project cost control, spend and variance.
• Opportunistic for Value engineering and usher team vigilance throughout project lifecycle.
• Support factories or region India with significant projects.
• Has the authority to make decisions and manage the allocated resources, within given time frame and budget.

What you can be?

• Civil Engineering graduate, having relevant experience in the same field.
• Minimum 15 Years to 20 Years of experience.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• Project management experience with reporting metrics of cost, time and other resources.
