Job summary

DDE UHP is a pioneering provider of ultra-high purity process utility systems serving the semiconductor, PV Solar and other high-tech industries. We seek a driven Design Engineer to join our team and help shape high-precision, mission-critical systems for the semiconductor sector.

You will lead planning, execution, and coordination across design, procurement and site teams, mentor junior engineers, and ensure safety, quality and timely delivery on complex projects.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in project execution / project management roles.
• Experience in planning, coordination, and site execution.
• Familiarity with MS Project / Excel for tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project execution within timeline, cost, and scope.
• Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, and execution plans.
• Monitor daily/weekly progress and ensure alignment with targets.
• Identify execution risks and implement corrective actions.
• Act as single point of contact for clients, vendors and internal teams.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and site execution teams; conduct progress reviews.
• Plan and allocate manpower, materials, and resources; mentor junior engineers.
• Track planned vs actual progress and ensure timely reporting to clients.
• Manage budgets and cost control at execution level; handle scope changes.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety at site.

We are seeking a driven and detail oriented Design Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in shaping high precision, mission-critical systems for the semiconductor industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution

• Lead end-to-end project execution ensuring delivery within timeline, cost, and scope
• Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, and execution plans
• Monitor daily/weekly progress and ensure alignment with project targets
• Identify execution risks and implement corrective and preventive actions

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the single point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams
• Coordinate effectively with design, procurement, and site execution teams
• Conduct regular review meetings and progress discussions
• Ensure smooth communication across all project stakeholders

Resource & Team Management

• Plan and allocate manpower, materials, and resources effectively
• Lead and guide site teams, engineers, and contractors
• Monitor team productivity and ensure efficient utilization
• Mentor junior engineers and build a performance-driven team environment

Project Monitoring & Control

• Track planned vs actual progress and highlight deviations
• Ensure timely submission of reports, MIS, and client updates
• Manage project budgets and cost control at execution level
• Handle scope changes and variation management

Quality & Safety Management

• Ensure adherence to quality standards and project specifications
• Monitor execution to minimize rework and errors
• Enforce safety practices and compliance at site
• Identify and resolve site-level challenges and bottlenecks
• Take timely decisions under pressure to avoid project delays
• Escalate critical issues with proper mitigation plans

Basic Industry Exposure (Solar / Semiconductor):

• Basic understanding of industrial project environments (Solar / Semiconductor / similar)
• Awareness of project workflows, site execution challenges, and coordination needs
• No deep design knowledge required — focus is on execution and management

Qualifications and Skills :

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical / Electrical)
• 8–12 years of experience in project execution / project management roles
• Strong experience in planning, coordination, and site execution
• Familiarity with tools like MS Project / Excel for tracking & reporting
• Good understanding of resource planning and progress monitoring
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and tight deadlines
• Problem-solving and decision-making under pressure
• Leadership and team management capability
