Job summary

Philips Iberica SAU is seeking a Project Manager to lead remediation, growth, and innovation projects in a structured, end-to-end setup. You will manage timelines, budgets, and resources while guiding cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes customer-centric delivery, strong stakeholder management, and application of PM methodologies to optimize outcomes across complex programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, IT, Business/PM or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Portfolio/Innovation/PM or equivalent OR with Master's degree no prior experience required.
• Preferred PMP certification.

Responsibilities

• Remediation/MDD/MDR, growth projects, and ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Prepares and implements complex projects within specs, timelines and staffing, leading a project team.
• Executes improvement projects and drives change under limited supervision.
• Develops knowledge of PM methodologies and end-to-end processes, applying advanced planning and estimation.
• Provides effective team collaboration, guiding diverse team members and ensuring clear communication.
• Ensures customer centricity by addressing customer needs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Builds strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, subcontractors, and senior management.
• Delivers business impact through innovative solutions and new processes or product enhancements.
• Continuously improves by applying PMBok and SAFe guidelines and sharing knowledge.
• Documents project knowledge and lessons learned for future reference.
• Cultivates relationships and influences project outcomes across teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Remediation/MDD/MDR and Growth Projects like Market expansion, independently managing innovation projects, and ensuring alignment with agreed timelines, budgets, and resource constraints.
• Prepares and implements complex projects within agreed-upon specifications, timelines, budgets, and staffing, managing a project team as part of a larger initiative to deliver key parts of a main end-to-end process.
• Executes improvement projects, resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways, demonstrating good judgment in selecting methods initiating change and driving improvements within the discipline, working under limited supervision.
• Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways, demonstrating good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Develops a broad knowledge of project management methodologies, relevant organizational structures, and end-to-end processes, applying advanced planning methods and estimation techniques (resources, time, and risk) specific to the design discipline.
• Provides effective team collaboration by fostering a positive and inclusive team environment, motivating and guiding team members from diverse backgrounds, effectively delegating tasks, leveraging individual strengths, and ensuring clear communication across all project phases.
• Ensures customer centricity by demonstrating a deep understanding of customer needs throughout the project lifecycle, incorporating customer feedback into project iterations, and ensuring the final solution effectively addresses identified needs.
• Builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and senior management, proactively managing expectations, addressing concerns, and ensuring all parties are aligned on project objectives.
• Delivers business impact by driving projects that deliver innovative solutions with tangible benefits for the organization (e.g., new business processes, product enhancements, or supporting short-term business goals).
• Ensures continuous improvement by constantly seeking opportunities to improve project management skills and team processes, utilizing PMBok and SAFe guidelines to guide project execution, and actively participating in knowledge-sharing initiatives within the organization.
• Documents project knowledge by developing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, capturing lessons learned and best practices for future reference and knowledge transfer.
• Cultivates effective relationships, shares knowledge, and provides influence over projects and peer groups, demonstrating full understanding of area of specialization.

Minimum required Education

Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, Program Management or equivalent.

Minimum required Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience with Bachelor's in areas such as Portfolio Management, Innovation Management, Project and Program Management or equivalent OR no prior experience required with Master's Degree.
