Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or vocational education in engineering or operations.
• 7+ years experience in industrial/manufacturing engineering or supply chain (or entry with degree).
• Experience leading manufacturing teams, budgets, and production planning.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and guides a team of direct reports, ensuring productivity and precision in tasks.
• Develops financial forecasts and operating plans to guide decisions.
• Optimizes productivity, equipment utilization, cost of non-quality, and efficiency.
• Trains operators in production processes and Health & Safety protocols.
• Ensures adherence to work instructions and tool specs in production.
• Implements Lean methodologies and integrates New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
• Prepares and implements production processes to deliver safe, compliant, high-quality products.
• Drives continuous improvement and identifies new methods to optimize workflow.
• Mentors the team in selection, performance management, and career development.

Your role:

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervises and guides a compact team of skilled direct reports, ensuring their productivity and effectiveness in executing tasks with precision and efficiency.
• Develops comprehensive financial forecasts and annual operating plans to strategically guide financial decisions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Maximizes manufacturing performance by meticulously optimizing key metrics such as productivity, equipment utilization, cost of non-quality, and overall efficiency, thereby enhancing operational effectiveness and streamlining production processes.
• Provides thorough and ongoing training to operators in production processes and Health & Safety protocols, prioritizing their competence and safety while executing tasks.
• Ensures strict adherence to specifications and requirements in work instructions and tools utilized throughout the production process, maintaining consistency and accuracy.
• Actively implements Lean project methodologies and facilitates the seamless integration of New Product Introduction (NPI) processes to streamline operations, drive efficiency, and foster continuous improvement.
• Takes charge of preparing and implementing manufacturing production processes, meticulously ensuring the delivery of safe, compliant, and high-quality products and services to customers.
• Innovates and identifies novel methods to optimize workflow, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and driving efficiency and excellence in production operations.
• Guides and mentors the team, actively contributing to employee selection, performance management, compensation management, career development, and overseeing operational processes.

Minimum required Education: Bachelor's Degree / Vocational Education in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Production Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum required Experience: No prior experience required with Bachelor's Degree OR minimum 7+ years of experience with Vocational Education in areas such as Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent.
