Rstar Technologies is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead a complex Dynamics 365 Sales/CRM and Data Modernization program for a financial services client.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day project execution across Dynamics 365 Sales/CRM, data platforms, integrations, reporting, and migration workstreams.
• Serve as the Scrum Master, leading sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and release planning.
• Coordinate with Product Owners, Analysts, Architects, Tech Leads, Data Leads, QA, and customer stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, sprint commitments, dependencies, and release schedules.
• Ensure user stories are well-defined, estimated, prioritized, and ready for development.
• Track backlog health, sprint velocity, blockers, defects, and carryover; maintain RAID logs.
• Identify risks and delivery slippage and drive mitigation plans.
• Coordinate cross-workstream dependencies and production readiness activities.
• Provide executive-level status on health, milestones, risks, and priorities.

rSTAR is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead delivery of a complex Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales/CRM and Data Modernization program for a financial services client. The ideal candidate will combine strong project management and Scrum execution skills with experience coordinating CRM, data, integration, QA, and business workstreams. This role requires someone who can drive predictable delivery, proactively identify risks and dependencies, maintain strong sprint discipline, and provide clear visibility to customer and internal leadership. Experience in Financial Services, Investment Management, Asset Management, Wealth Management, or Banking is strongly preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day project execution across Dynamics 365 Sales/CRM, Customer/Client Master Data, Data Platform/Lakehouse, integrations, reporting, and data migration workstreams.
• Serve as the Scrum Master, driving sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.
• Partner closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Technical Leads, Data Leads, QA, and customer stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, sprint commitments, dependencies, critical paths, and release schedules.
• Ensure user stories are sufficiently defined, estimated, prioritized, and ready before entering development.
• Track backlog health, sprint velocity, committed vs. completed stories, blockers, defects, and carryover.n
• Maintain and actively manage RAID logs, including risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, decisions, owners, and target resolution dates.
• Proactively identify risks and delivery slippage and drive mitigation or recovery plans before milestones are impacted.
• Manage cross-workstream dependencies between Dynamics 365, data platform, data migration, APIs/integrations, reporting, and downstream systems.
• Coordinate development, SIT, UAT, defect resolution, deployment readiness, release, and production transition activities.
• Facilitate customer and internal governance meetings with clear status, decisions required, risks, dependencies, and action items.
• Provide concise executive-level reporting on overall project health, milestones, accomplishments, risks, budget/resource considerations, and upcoming priorities.
• Ensure action items have clear owners and dates and follow through to closure.
• Escalate critical risks, resource constraints, unresolved decisions, and delivery concerns in a timely manner.
• Drive accountability across distributed teams while maintaining strong collaboration with customer stakeholders.
• Ensure delivery aligns with agreed scope, timeline, quality, business outcomes, and customer expectations.

Must Have

• 8+ years of experience in Project Management / Scrum Master / Technology Delivery roles.
• Strong experience managing enterprise CRM, data modernization, cloud, or digital transformation projects.
• Strong hands‑on experience running Agile/Scrum delivery, including sprint planning, stand‑ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and release planning.
• Experience managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 / CRM implementations or similar enterprise CRM platforms.
• Experience coordinating data platform, data migration, integration, reporting, and data engineering workstreams.
• Strong understanding of user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog management, sprint commitments, velocity, defects, and release management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage RAID, milestones, dependencies, critical paths, change requests, and delivery governance.
• Strong experience coordinating SIT, UAT, defect management, deployment, and production readiness.
• Ability to identify project risks early and drive teams toward resolution rather than relying primarily on escalation.
• Excellent customer‑facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with distributed/onshore‑offshore teams and coordinating across multiple technical disciplines.

Good To Have

• Experience in Financial Services, Investment Management, Asset Management, Wealth Management, OCIO, or Banking.
• Experience managing Dynamics 365 Sales implementations.
• Experience with Customer/Client Master Data, MDM, Customer 360, data quality, deduplication, or data governance initiatives.
• Experience with Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure Data Lake, or similar modern data platforms.
• Understanding of financial‑services considerations around data security, privacy, compliance, auditability, and governance.
• Familiarity with Power Platform, Power BI, Azure integration services, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.

• PMP, CSM, PSM, SAFe, or similar Project Management/Agile certification is a plus.
