You will plan, coordinate, and monitor multiple work streams with a focus on safety, quality, cost, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate should have 2-5 years of relevant experience in heavy engineering or fabrication, and a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.

  • Experience in fabrication, pressure vessels, process equipment preferred.
  • Wada, Maharashtra residency or willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor projects from initiation to completion.
  • Ensure projects are completed within the planned timeline, quality standards, and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Design, Quality, Procurement, Stores, Maintenance, and Dispatch departments.
  • Review project drawings, technical specifications, production requirements, and project schedules.
  • Monitor day-to-day manufacturing and fabrication activities related to assigned projects.
  • Track material availability, production progress, inspection status, and dispatch schedules.
  • Identify project delays, technical issues, and resource requirements and take timely corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with the Quality team for inspections, testing, documentation, and customer requirements.
  • Monitor fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, testing, and other project-related activities.
  • Ensure proper coordination between shop-floor activities and project execution schedules.
  • Conduct regular project progress reviews and prepare project status reports.
  • Maintain project-related documentation, records, schedules, and progress reports.
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and other external agencies whenever required.
  • Visit the Thane Corporate Office once a week for project reviews, management meetings, coordination, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality requirements, safety standards, and customer specifications.
  • Support management in resolving project-related technical and operational issues.
  • Monitor project costs and assist in controlling unnecessary project expenses.
  • Ensure timely completion and successful handover of projects.

Job Summary

We are looking for a technically strong and result-orientated project manager to manage and execute engineering and manufacturing projects at our Wada plant.

The ideal candidate should have 2-5 years of relevant experience in the heavy engineering, fabrication, pressure vessel, process equipment, or similar manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and ensuring timely execution of projects while maintaining required quality and safety standards.

The candidate must be residing in Wada or willing to relocate and stay in Wada. The candidate will also be required to visit the company's Thane Corporate Office once a week for project reviews, coordination, and meetings with the management/team.

Key Responsibilities

Required Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of pressure vessels, process equipment, fabricated components, and heavy engineering products will be preferred.
  • Understanding of welding, fabrication, machining, assembly, inspection, and testing processes.
  • Ability to understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Good project planning, coordination, monitoring, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and project documentation.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments and shop-floor teams.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory).
  • Experience: 25 years of relevant experience.
  • Industry: The candidate must have experience in heavy engineering / fabrication / pressure vessel / process equipment / industrial equipment manufacturing or a closely related industry.
  • Location: The candidate must be willing to reside and work in Wada, Maharashtra.
  • Thane Visit: Must be willing to visit the Thane Corporate Office once every week as required.
  • Candidates from unrelated industries without relevant heavy engineering/manufacturing experience will not be preferred.
