Job description

Context

The Project Manager is responsible for running Museum Studio’s operations in India. He is the local contact for clients, leads project delivery, and manages the administrative, financial and HR coordination of the Indian entity. The role combines client interface, project management and office leadership.

Key Responsibilities
1. Client & Local Representation
  • Act as the main local point of contact for clients and partners in India.
  • Represent Museum Studio locally and support client relationships.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and manage day-to-day communications.
  • Monitor tenders and RFPs in coordination with Group Central business development team; support BD team to optimise the success factor of these tenders.
Project Management
  • Lead and oversee projects delivered in India.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and at target margin.
  • Coordinate with Paris and international project teams.
  • Identify risks and implement corrective actions.
Financial Management of Projects

Monitor project budgets, costs, cash-flow and margins.

  • Ensure accurate project financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Support invoicing, revenue recognition and change order valuation with finance and commercial teams.
Resource Planning & Productivity
  • Plan and control project staffing according to schedules and budgets.
  • Review and validate timesheets.
  • Analyze planned vs. actual man-days and productivity.
  • Anticipate resource needs and propose corrective actions.
  • Monitor local vendors for ongoing and future projects and propose solutions to optimise Museum Studio costs at large.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Operations Manager, preferably in exhibitions, museums, architecture, design, or creative industries.
  • Strong client management and communication skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on time, within budget, and at target margins.
  • Solid understanding of project financial management (budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow, margins).
  • Experience coordinating with cross-border or international teams.
  • Strong capabilities in resource planning, workload management, and productivity analysis.
  • Experience working with local vendors and suppliers, including cost optimization.
  • Familiarity with tenders and RFP processes is a strong advantage.
