Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Design or related field; Master's preferred.
• 10-12 years of post-qualification experience in project management, design management, or design consultancy.
• Proven expertise in design project delivery and design consultancy practices.
• Strong proficiency with design management tools and PM platforms.
• Experience managing budget and commercial aspects on Rs5 crore to Rs10 crore projects.
• Excellent team leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Advanced stakeholder and client relationship management skills.
• Understanding of risk management methodologies and QA standards.
• Excellent English communication, both verbal and written.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and proficient in schedule management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management commissions, taking full responsibility for design delivery from inception to completion.
• Provide strategic support on major design projects, aligning with client objectives.
• Manage design consultants and coordinate appointments to optimize outcomes.
• Oversee commercial and budget management, delivering within cost targets and timelines.

Job Description

We're looking for an experienced and visionary Project Manager - Design to join our dynamic team in Mumbai, India. In this role, you'll lead and support design-focused project management commissions, ensuring exceptional service delivery while maintaining our commitment to innovation and client satisfaction. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, consultants, and stakeholders to deliver projects that exceed expectations and drive organizational success.

• Lead end-to-end project management commissions, taking full responsibility for design project delivery from inception through completion
• Provide strategic support on major design projects, managing specific aspects of service delivery and ensuring alignment with client objectives
• Manage design consultants and coordinate consultant appointments, fostering collaborative relationships that enhance project outcomes
• Oversee commercial and budget management, ensuring projects are delivered within cost targets while maintaining quality standards and timelines
• Lead and mentor project teams, promoting a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively
• Coordinate seamlessly with internal teams, external stakeholders, and site personnel to ensure smooth project execution
• Analyze project performance metrics and provide detailed reporting to senior management, demonstrating analytical rigor and transparency

• Strong proficiency with design management tools, software, and project management platforms
• Demonstrated excellence in commercial and budget management, with the ability to manage projects in the Rs5 crore to Rs10 crore range
• Exceptional team management and leadership capabilities, with experience mentoring and developing project teams
• Advanced stakeholder management and client relationship management skills
• Comprehensive understanding of risk management methodologies and quality assurance standards
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex design concepts clearly
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail‑oriented approach to project execution
• Proficiency in schedule and timeline management, ensuring projects are delivered on time
• Experience working in a consultancy environment with exposure to diverse project types and client bases
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners
