Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery for pharma-focused SAP engagements from planning to go-live.
• Serve as primary liaison between business stakeholders, SAP teams, and leadership.
• Manage timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resources.
• Drive governance, status reports, steering committee updates, and escalations.
• Mentor teams and provide performance guidance.
• Align pharma processes (manufacturing, quality, supply chain, compliance) with SAP capabilities.
• Support user acceptance testing, cutover planning, and change management.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry and exposure to SAP programs, including implementation, rollout, or business super-user experience. This client-facing leadership role is ideal for someone who has managed teams, owned delivery timelines, and can confidently connect business and technology stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery for pharma-focused SAP engagements, from planning through go-live and stabilization.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, SAP functional and technical teams, and leadership.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
• Drive project governance, including status reporting, steering committee updates, and escalation management.
• Provide managerial oversight to project teams, including mentoring, guidance, and performance support.
• Ensure alignment between pharma business processes, such as manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and compliance, and SAP system capabilities.
• Support user acceptance testing, cutover planning, and change management activities.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 8–10 years of overall experience, with significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Direct or indirect involvement in an SAP program, either as part of an implementation team or as a business super user. Experience with any SAP module is acceptable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to present to senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on SAP experience is a must.

Good to Have

• PMP / Prince2 / SAP Activate certification
• Experience with pharma-specific compliance frameworks (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11)
• Exposure to global/multi-entity project environments
