Job summary

Ocean Life Spaces in Hyderabad seeks a proactive Project Manager to lead interior fit-out projects from initiation to completion. You will coordinate design, site activities, procurement, and subcontractors to meet scope, schedule, and budget targets.

The role requires strong leadership for cross-functional teams, effective client communication, and risk management to keep stakeholders aligned. You will ensure QA/QC, safety, and thorough handover documentation at project close.

Job description

Project Planning & Execution:

• Plan, organize, and manage interior fit-out projects from initiation to completion.


• Develop project execution plans, schedules, and resource requirements.


• Ensure smooth coordination between design, site, procurement, and subcontracting teams.

Project Coordination & Team Management:

• Lead and coordinate project managers, engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors.


• Allocate resources effectively to achieve project milestones.


• Conduct regular project meetings and track action items.

Cost & Budget Management:

• Monitor project budgets, expenses, and cost performance.


• Control variations, claims, and additional works.


• Coordinate with QS and commercial teams for cost optimization.

Client & Consultant Management:

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.


• Manage client expectations, approvals, and project communications.


• Provide regular progress updates and resolve project concerns.

Quality & Safety Management:

• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, QA/QC procedures, and safety standards.


• Monitor site progress, workmanship quality, and project deliverables.


• Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to maintain project standards.

Schedule & Progress Control:

• Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.


• Identify delays, risks, and constraints and implement corrective actions.


• Ensure timely completion of project activities.

Procurement & Subcontract Management:

• Coordinate with procurement teams for timely material and equipment availability.


• Manage subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.


• Review and approve project-related submissions and documentation.

Project Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain project records, reports, meeting minutes, and progress documentation.


• Prepare project status reports for management review.


• Ensure proper project handover and close-out documentation.
