AdaniConnex (Data Center) in Dholera, Gujarat, seeks an experienced Project Manager (Data Center) to lead end-to-end construction of DC projects with a strong focus on MEP systems.

You will plan, execute, manage budgets, coordinate with consultants and contractors, ensure safety, quality, and timely handovers, and drive commissioning and operations transition.

Qualificações

• 15+ years of experience in construction/project management with a strong MEP background.
• Experience in Data Centers, Commercial Buildings, Industrial Facilities, Hospitals, Airports, or large infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and large-scale EPC projects.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the overall data center project lifecycle from design coordination, site execution, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Develop project schedules, resource plans, and execution strategies.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage installation and execution of HVAC, Electrical, ELV, Fire Protection, Plumbing, and Utility systems.
• Review MEP designs, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Ensure integration and coordination between MEP and Civil/Architectural works.
• Resolve technical issues during project execution.

Job Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing end-to-end construction of Data Center projects with a strong focus on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. The role involves planning, execution, stakeholder management, budgeting, quality assurance, safety compliance, and timely delivery of projects while ensuring adherence to design specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Lead the overall data center project lifecycle from design coordination, Site execution, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Develop project schedules, resource plans, and execution strategies.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage installation and execution of HVAC, Electrical, ELV, Fire Protection, Plumbing, and Utility systems.
• Review MEP designs, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Ensure integration and coordination between MEP and Civil/Architectural works.
• Resolve technical issues during project execution.

Cost & Contract Management

• Prepare and monitor project budgets and cash flow.
• Review contractor bills, variation orders, and claims.
• Control project costs and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Manage subcontractor performance and contractual obligations.

Quality & Safety

• Ensure compliance with quality standards, project specifications, and statutory norms.
• Implement and monitor EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) practices.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
• Drive corrective actions to maintain project quality and safety standards.

Stakeholder Management

• Interface with clients, consultants, authorities, and internal departments.
• Provide regular project status reports to management.
• Lead project review meetings and update stakeholders on project milestones.

Testing & Commissioning

• Oversee testing, commissioning, and system validation activities.
• Ensure smooth project close-out and handover documentation.
• Support operations teams during project transition.

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Experience: 15+ years of experience in construction/project management with a strong MEP background. Experience in Data Centers, Commercial Buildings, Industrial Facilities, Hospitals, Airports, or Large Infrastructure Projects preferred. Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and large-scale EPC projects. Critical Infrastructure and Mission-Critical Facilities.
