Job summary

TO THE NEW is seeking a senior Project Manager/Scrum Master to lead web/mobile development projects in India. You will define milestones, manage resources, and ensure delivery against client objectives, while guiding a 20+ developer team and coordinating across design, development, and QA.

You will drive stakeholder engagement through all phases, manage scope and budgets, and mentor teams to deliver stories on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/MCA/MBA with 10+ years of Project Management experience in web/mobile application development projects and 4-5 years experience in a lead/manager role with complete delivery responsibility for the project(s)

Responsibilities

• Create project plans and define project milestones to be executed by project teams, while ensuring the optimal use of resources to meet the client's objectives
• Drive stakeholder engagement through all project phases, from requirement analysis and design to deployment, ensuring compliance and validation while articulating business and technical implications and managing senior relationships for successful delivery
• Play the role of a Scrum Master and ensure that the development team delivers user stories within estimated time and budget
• Proactively communicate and manage changes in client’s expectations and project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans throughout the development life cycle
• Manage a cross-functional team of designers, developers, and quality engineers and be able to guide them and resolve their issues
• Monitor the project status and present relevant project reports to internal and external stakeholders

• Should be well versed with the technology landscape including custom web and mobile application development cloud, mobility, UX-led engineering
• Should have excellent team management experience with 20+ developers and be able to mentor and guide them to ensure effective execution
• Excellent understanding of controlling and managing budgets, resource management, and forecasting
