Job summary

Vnr Homes seeks a hands-on Senior Project Manager in Chennai to lead end-to-end residential development projects. You will coordinate design, construction, MEP, and stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with rigorous quality standards.

You will oversee budgets, procurement, and contractor negotiations, driving risk mitigation and safe, compliant execution across premium residential settings. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 25+ years of experience in residential real estate development and construction.
• End-to-end project management from design to handover.
• Strong knowledge of building design, construction methods, MEP coordination, and regulations.

Preferred candidate profile

• 20 to 25 years of experience in residential real estate development and construction, preferably with established developers
• Proven experience in end-to-end project management, from design development through construction, completion and handover
• Strong understanding of residential building design, construction methodologies, MEP coordination and statutory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, cost control, procurement and contractor negotiations
• Strong track record of delivering projects within approved budgets and committed timelines
• Experience managing architects, consultants, contractors, vendors and internal project teams.
• Strong focus on quality control, safety and construction standards
• Ability to identify project risks early and take independent decisions to resolve design, cost, quality and execution issues
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively
• Should have a hands-on approach to project execution and be comfortable taking complete ownership of project delivery
• Candidates with experience handling premium/mid-to-high-end residential developments will be preferred
• Chennai-based candidates or candidates with strong experience in Chennai residential projects would be preferred
