Job summary

JobTrade in Hyderabad, India is seeking an experienced Project Manager to independently drive complete construction projects from excavation to handover, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate with architects and consultants, monitor progress, manage resources and safety, and deliver projects to high standards with rigorous QA and timely reporting.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in construction project management.
  • High-rise residential project experience preferred.
  • End-to-end project execution from excavation to handover.
  • Premium residential developments experience is a plus.

Job description

Job Role: Project Manager
  • Independently manage complete construction project execution from excavation to final handover.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor project activities, milestones, and execution plans.
  • Ensure projects are completed within approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate construction activities across all project stages.
  • Lead and supervise daily site operations.
  • Ensure effective deployment of manpower, machinery, materials, and other resources.
  • Monitor project progress and take corrective actions when required.
  • Resolve technical and operational issues at the site level.
  • Manage civil, structural, finishing, MEP, and specialized contractors.
  • Evaluate contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
  • Verify contractor bills, measurements, and work progress.
  • Ensure construction follows approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Conduct quality inspections and audits at different stages of construction.
  • Minimize rework through proactive quality control and monitoring.
  • Optimize resource utilization and control material wastage.
  • Identify cost‑saving opportunities through value engineering.
  • Ensure strict compliance with HSE regulations, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Promote a zero‑accident work culture through regular safety inspections and toolbox meetings.
  • Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, landscape consultants, and interior designers.
  • Ensure timely approval of drawings and technical documents.
  • Resolve design and coordination issues effectively.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports.
  • Present project status, risks, challenges, and mitigation plans to senior management.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
  • Ensure compliance with local authority approvals, building codes, and statutory regulations.
  • Coordinate inspections with government authorities and consultants.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams comprising engineers, supervisors, and support staff.
  • Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
  • Mentor junior engineers and develop technical capabilities within the team.
  • Supervise finishing works and ensure premium quality standards.
  • Coordinate snag rectification, final inspections, and project handover.
  • Manage handover documentation, customer walkthroughs, and defect liability activities.
