Job summary

SHF Design Engineering is seeking an experienced IT PMO leader to establish and continuously improve the Group IT PMO framework, governance, RACI, escalation, and project standards in Chennai.

You will develop and standardize charters, RAID logs, dashboards, and reports while selecting Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, or SAFe methods per project needs. Manage intake, WBS, and roadmaps using Jira/Confluence/MS Project and similar tools.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Establish and continuously improve the Group IT PMO framework, governance, RACI, decision rights, escalation matrix, and project standards.
  • Develop and standardize project charters, plans, RAID logs, status reports, change requests, and closure reports.
  • Define and implement suitable Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, or SAFe methodologies based on project requirements.
  • Manage project intake, prioritization, approvals, WBS, task structures, and portfolio roadmaps using tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent.
  • Track projects across scope, schedule, budget, resources, dependencies, risks, and milestones and maintain a reliable group-wide project repository.
  • Proactively identify project risks, delays, and dependencies, maintain RAID logs, and drive timely escalation and resolution.
  • Develop portfolio, program, and project dashboards covering KPIs, milestones, risks, financials, resources, and overall project health.
  • Prepare and present weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual IT PMO reports for senior leadership and governance forums.
  • Organize steering committees, PMO reviews, governance meetings, and track decisions and action items through closure.
  • Coordinate across Group CIO, CDO, CISO, CIDO, business units, entity teams, and GCC initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment of PMO processes, templates, tools, reporting, and governance standards across Group entities.
  • Support change management, including scope, resource, timeline, and priority changes with appropriate approvals.
  • Drive PMO maturity, process improvement, stakeholder training, and adoption of industry best practices.

Certifications

  • Project management certification PMP, PRINCE2 (Practitioner), or equivalent.
  • Agile certification CSM, PSM I/II, SAFe Agilist, or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC).
  • Project/portfolio governance certification — P3O, Management of Portfolios (MoP), or PfMP.
