Job summary

CSTech India is seeking an experienced Project Leader – NPD to steer new product development from RFQ to SOP in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will drive cross-functional teams, manage tooling development, and ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 8–12 years in NPD, strong proficiency in APQP/PPAP, and hands-on experience with moulds, dies, jigs and fixtures; SolidWorks/Creo knowledge is a plus. PMP is preferred.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in NPD/Project Engineering in manufacturing.
• Strong experience in plastic and metal component development.
• Hands-on tooling development experience.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, DFM/DFA and project management.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage customer-facing projects.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks/Creo and OEM/ODM programmes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPD projects from RFQ to SOP per timelines.
• Coordinate and drive all departments & teams to milestones.
• Manage tooling development (moulds, dies, jigs and fixtures).
• Drive DFM reviews, trials, validation and customer approvals.
• Ensure APQP, PPAP and quality documentation is completed on time.
• Monitor project cost, timelines, risks and supplier performance.
• Act as single point of contact for customers and provide updates.
• Ensure smooth project launch and on-time SOP.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Leader – NPD to lead new product development projects from RFQ to SOP, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, tooling readiness and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead NPD projects from RFQ to SOP as per project timelines.
• Coordinate and drive All Department & teams to achieve project milestones.
• Manage tooling development, including moulds, dies, jigs and fixtures.
• Drive DFM reviews, trials, product validation and customer approvals.
• Ensure APQP, PPAP and other quality documentation is completed on time.
• Monitor project cost, timelines, risks and supplier performance.
• Act as the single point of contact for customers and ensure timely project updates.
• Ensure smooth project launch and on-time SOP.

Required Skills & Experience
