Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Mumbai seeks a Business Development professional to drive growth in commercial fitout and interior construction. You will secure office fitout and workplace transformation projects across corporate, retail, and hospitality sectors.

The role demands building strong client relationships, conducting needs assessments, and leading end-to-end proposal development including scoping, pricing, risk reviews and presentations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years business development experience in commercial fitout or interior construction
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Business, Construction Management, or related field
• Understanding of fitout processes, MEP systems, finishes, and design-build delivery
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Commercially focused with ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Pursue fitout opportunities with corporate occupiers, landlords, and retail/hospitality clients
• Conduct client needs assessments

Business Development - Fitout Projects

Position Overview

Drive growth in commercial fitout and interior construction. Secure office fitout, and workplace transformation projects across corporate, retail, and hospitality sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Pursue fitout opportunities with corporate occupiers, landlords, and retail/hospitality clients
• Conduct client needs assessments
• Lead end-to-end proposal development including scope definition, pricing strategy, risk assessment, and presentation preparation.
• Negotiate contract terms and manage competitive bidding processes
• Build and maintain client relationships for repeat business
• Monitor market trends in workplace design and occupier requirements
