Job summary

JLL in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex construction projects from pre-construction and design to occupancy and closeout. You will drive critical stakeholder meetings, provide on-site project leadership, and apply financial acumen to meet client goals.

You will manage schedules, budgets, and cross-functional teams, leveraging MS Project and Excel to deliver value in a fast-paced environment and travel when required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in base building and interiors construction management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• MEP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage wide variety projects for new construction and tenant improvements.
• Develop and maintain Master Project Schedules and manage execution within timelines.
• Ensure project team meets established timelines and requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Oversee design processes with Architects, Interior Designers, Consultants, Engineers, Testing & Commissioning Agents.
• Prepare RFPs and manage contractor/vendor selection.
• Monitor budget and create cost savings for the client.
• Act as liaison between client, finance and vendors.
• Collaborate across all JLL platforms (transaction managers, facilities managers, engineers, planners, etc).
• Ensure project closeouts and invoices meet Client SLA.
• Travel up to 25%.

We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Project and Development Services team. As a Senior Project Manager at JLL, you will be directly responsible for executing complex project goals through agile and strategic leadership. Leveraging a national platform will allow you to focus on and lead industry changing projects that influence the future of work. Your strong knowledge of construction projects from Pre-construction and Design Management to Occupancy/Commissioning and Closeout, will speak to your holistic approach to client needs. Your influence will be founded in facilitating critical stakeholder meetings, providing on-site project leadership and applying financial acumen to meet client goals.

LEADERSHIP

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage wide variety projects for both new construction and tenant improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain Master Project Schedules and manage the successful execution of projects so that completion falls within intended timeframes.
• Ensure project team meets the established timelines & requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage the design process as well as Architects, Interior Designers, Consultants, Engineers, Testing Agents, and Commissioning Agents, among others.
• Prepare RFP’s needed for vendor and contractor services as well as manage the contractor, vendor selection process.
• Monitor the budget and create cost savings for the client.
• Serve as liaison between the client, finance and vendors.
• Collaborate across all JLL platforms including transaction managers, facilities managers, building engineers, occupancy planners, low voltage managers, and move managers, among others.
• Highly organized with strong analytical skills.
• Apply technology to drive change and provide data accuracy for reporting.
• Proficiency in the use and application of project management technology tools (i.e. MS Project, Excel, etc.) and continually seek opportunities to develop your skillset.
• Ensure project closeouts and invoices are completed within established Client SLA for assigned Programs.
• Champion safety by ensuring JLL guidelines are followed.
• Experience with low voltage cabling a plus.
• Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.
• Travel as needed, up to 25%.

Education & Experience

• (10+) years of relevant experience related to base building and interiors construction management.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent desired
• Preferred - MEP experience
• Corporate Real Estate/Office project management experience preferred
