Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking an experienced Test Lead to drive end-to-end Quality Engineering initiatives across enterprise applications. You will lead QA teams, define testing strategies, and drive automation, performance, and security testing within Agile/DevOps environments.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Tosca, qTest, NeoLoad, Veracode, and GitHub integration, plus strong leadership capabilities to mentor teams and deliver high-quality software products.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Software Testing & QA experience.
• 5+ years leading QA/test teams.
• Hands-on expertise in test automation, performance engineering and application security testing.
• Experience in Agile/DevOps environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA teams in planning, designing and executing testing strategies.
• Define test plans, approaches and quality metrics for enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align quality objectives with business goals.
• Mentor QA engineers on best practices, automation frameworks and testing methodologies.
• Design, develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Tosca.
• Implement risk-based and model-based automation; integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage test cases, execution cycles, defects and reporting with qTest.
• Establish end-to-end traceability between requirements, tests, defects and releases.
• Design and execute performance testing using NeoLoad; identify bottlenecks.
• Lead security testing initiatives with Veracode including SAST/DAST and SCA.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Test Lead to drive end-to-end Quality Engineering initiatives across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands‑on expertise in Tricentis Tosca, qTest, NeoLoad, Veracode, GitHub integration, and modern testing practices. This role requires strong leadership capabilities along with deep technical experience in test automation, performance engineering, and application security testing within Agile/DevOps environments.

Key Responsibilities

Test Leadership & Strategy

• Lead QA teams in planning, designing, and executing comprehensive testing strategies.
• Define test plans, test approaches, and quality metrics for enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality objectives are met.
• Mentor and guide QA engineers on best practices, automation frameworks, and testing methodologies.

Test Automation

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Tricentis Tosca.
• Implement risk-based and model-based test automation strategies.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Analyze automation coverage and drive improvements in test efficiency and quality.

Test Management

• Manage test cases, test execution cycles, defects, and reporting using qTest.
• Establish end-to-end traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and releases.
• Generate quality dashboards and provide testing status reports to stakeholders.

Performance Testing

• Design and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing using Tricentis NeoLoad.
• Analyze performance bottlenecks and collaborate with development and infrastructure teams for optimization.
• Define performance benchmarks and ensure applications meet SLA requirements.

Application Security Testing

• Lead application security testing initiatives using Veracode.
• Perform Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), and Software Composition Analysis (SCA).
• Collaborate with development teams to remediate security vulnerabilities and improve secure coding practices.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and maintain testing integrations with GitHub and CI/CD platforms.
• Configure automated test execution as part of build and deployment pipelines.
• Manage version control, branching strategies, pull request validations, and quality gates.
• Support DevSecOps initiatives by integrating quality and security testing into development workflows.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience leading QA/Test teams.
