Aufgaben

• Direct all on-site construction activities and lead a diverse team of construction managers, site engineers, contractors, and vendors.
• Coordinate with VP-Projects for issue resolutions to ensure early completion of projects.
• Coordinate with PEB vendors to align civil foundations, anchor bolt casting, and structural grid with fabrication schedules.
• Monitor critical paths and implement recovery plans for construction delays.
• Enforce strict quality control metrics for high-tolerance flooring, heavy foundations, and drainage systems.
• Oversee concrete pours, grading, roadworks, and utility installations.
• Manage project budget, approve contractor billing, evaluate variations, and control material waste.
• Drive value engineering initiatives with VP Projects to optimize resources without compromising structural integrity.
• Establish zero-harm safety culture and ensure compliance with EHS regulations on-site.

Role & responsibilities:

Project Execution & Leadership

• Continuous coordination with the VP-Projects and should work towards the issue resolutions for the early completion of the project.
• Direct all on-site construction activities, managing a diverse team of construction managers, site engineers, contractors, and vendors.
• Coordinate seamlessly with PEB vendors to sync civil foundations, anchor bolt casting, and structural grid alignments with fabrication schedules.
• Monitoring critical paths and implementing recovery plans for any construction delays.

Technical & Quality Assurance

• Enforce rigid quality control metrics specifically tailored for warehouse construction, including high-tolerance industrial flooring (FM2/super-flat floors), heavy foundations, and specialized drainage systems.
• Oversee structural concrete pours, grading, roadworks, and utility infrastructure installations.

Financial & Contract Management

• Manage the project budget, approving contractor billing, evaluating variations, and controlling material waste.
• Drive value engineering initiatives in coordination with the VP projects to optimize resource allocation and lower civil construction costs without compromising structural integrity.
• Manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and third-party consultants.

Safety & Compliance

• Establish a zero-harm safety culture, ensuring strict adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations on-site.
• Secure necessary local government statutory clearances, structural stability certificates, and occupancy permissions.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Education: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering. A Master’s degree in Construction Management is highly desirable.

• Experience: Minimum of 20–25 years in civil construction, with at least 5 years leading execution teams specifically for large-scale warehouses, logistics parks, or industrial PEB facilities.

• Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of PEB interfaces, heavy civil foundations, high-spec industrial flooring (VNA/FM2), rainwater harvesting, and MEP integration.
