Paanayil Heavy Engineering Projects is seeking an experienced Project Civil Engineer to supervise end-to-end execution of industrial projects including warehouses, sheds, and factory buildings with civil works and PEB steel structures.

The role involves site execution, quality control, safety compliance, and coordinating with vendors and erection contractors to ensure timely completion and billing support.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in industrial projects (warehouses, factory sheds).
• In-depth knowledge of PEB structures and foundation/erection details.
• Expertise in industrial flooring: VDF, Laser Screed, FM2.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project.
• Ability to manage labour contractors and multiple teams.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Willing to be posted at project sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise end-to-end execution of industrial projects from foundation to finishing.
• Coordinate with PEB vendor, fabrication team and erection contractor for daily progress.
• Ensure quality control and safety compliance per standards.
• Prepare daily/weekly plans and progress reports; manage bills with QS team.
• Monitor material consumption and ensure timely availability.
• Maintain site documentation and approvals with client/head office.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Project Civil Engineer to supervise and manage end-to-end execution of industrial projects including Warehouses, Industrial Sheds, and Factory Buildings consisting of Civil Works and PEB Steel Structures. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, quality, safety, billing, and timely completion of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Execution & Supervision:

• Complete supervision of industrial project execution from foundation to finishing.
• Execution of all civil works: marking, excavation, PCC, RCC foundations, pedestals, anchor bolts, plinth beams, flooring (VDF/Tremix/FM2), drains, roads, and compound wall.
• Supervision of PEB Steel Structure erection: Column erection, alignment, rafter, purlin, sheeting, cladding, and accessories.
• Coordinate with PEB vendor, fabrication team, and erection contractor for day-to-day progress.

2. Planning & Quality Control:

• Read and interpret civil and PEB structural drawings, architectural drawings, and GA drawings.
• Check layout, levels, shuttering, reinforcement, and anchor bolt alignment as per drawing before concreting.
• Ensure quality control as per standards - concrete testing, compaction, flooring levels, and PEB erection tolerances.
• Prepare daily, weekly work plan and DPR (Daily Progress Report).

3. Billing, Estimation & Coordination:

• Taking measurements, checking contractor bills, and preparing client billing with QS team.
• Monitoring material consumption - Cement, steel, concrete, and PEB materials.
• Coordinate with consultants, client, and Head Office for approvals and clarifications.
• Ensure availability of materials and manpower at site as per schedule.

4. Safety & Compliance:

• Enforce strict safety norms for work at height during PEB erection.
• Ensure compliance with statutory norms and safety PPE.
• Maintain site documentation - Pour cards, checklists, material test reports, hindrance register.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong hands-on experience in Industrial Projects - Warehouse, Factory Shed
• In-depth knowledge of PEB Structures - foundations with anchor bolts, erection sequence, and sheeting details.
• Expertise in Industrial Flooring - VDF, Laser Screed, FM2 Flooring.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project.
• Ability to handle labour contractors and manage multiple teams.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Willing to be posted at project sites.
