Job summary

Tecso Charge Zone is seeking a Civil Design Engineer with 1–4 years of experience in building construction and PEB projects in Vadodara. You will handle BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and foundation design while coordinating with PEB vendors and cross-functional teams.

Role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and a strong grasp of IS codes. You will support site validation, design development, and value engineering to optimize costs and ensure project success.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Civil Engineering is required.
• Hands-on experience with BOQ, cost estimation, and foundation design.
• Experience with PEB structures and IS codes preferred.
• Industrial projects, warehouses, or EV infrastructure experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on drawings and project requirements
• Perform quantity take-offs and cost estimation for civil and structural works
• Design and analyze foundations for various structures, including equipment foundations
• Perform basic PEB structure design calculations and coordinate with PEB vendors
• Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings
• Prepare GFC drawings and assist in design development
• Conduct site visits for validation of design inputs and coordination with execution teams
• Assist in value engineering and cost optimization
• Ensure compliance with IS codes, standards, and safety norms
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (electrical, mechanical, vendors, consultants)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Design Engineer with 1 to 4 years of experience in building construction and Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) projects. The candidate should have strong expertise in design, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and foundation design, along with hands‑on experience in project execution support.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on drawings and project requirements
• Perform quantity take-offs and cost estimation for civil and structural works
• Design and analyze foundations for various structures, including equipment foundations
• Perform basic PEB structure design calculations and coordinate with PEB vendors
• Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings
• Prepare GFC (Good for Construction) drawings and assist in design development
• Conduct site visits for validation of design inputs and coordination with execution teams
• Assist in value engineering and cost optimization
• Ensure compliance with relevant IS codes, standards, and safety norms
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (electrical, mechanical, vendors, consultants)

Educational Qualification

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to tendering, vendor coordination, and site execution support

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to travel for site visits if required
