Job summary

Thinktank Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Head EPC Projects to direct the execution of multiple industrial projects across India. The candidate must excel in leadership, client management, and end-to-end project delivery, ensuring profitability and adherence to schedule, quality and safety standards.

The role requires strong planning, budgeting, risk management and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across dispersed sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of multiple industrial EPC projects concurrently.
• Oversee end-to-end project execution from planning to commissioning and handover.
• Ensure delivery within budget, schedule, quality, and safety requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Lead client meetings, contract discussions and escalations as needed.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement corrective actions to meet milestones.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Commercial, QA/QC, HSE and Site Execution teams.
• Provide strategic guidance to Project Managers and site teams.
• Optimize utilization of manpower, material, equipment and finances.
• Review profitability and resource planning across all projects.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement in execution.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead the execution of 34 industrial EPC projects simultaneously.
• Oversee complete project execution from planning through commissioning and handover.
• Ensure project delivery within budget, schedule, quality, and safety requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Handle client meetings, project reviews, contractual discussions, and critical escalations.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to achieve project milestones.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Commercial, QA/QC, HSE, and Site Execution teams.
• Provide strategic guidance and leadership to Project Managers and site teams.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, materials, equipment, and financial resources.
• Review project performance, profitability, and resource planning across all assigned projects.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement in project execution.
• Submit periodic MIS and project performance reports to senior management.
