Job summary

WTT International in Tamil Nadu seeks a veteran Project Manager to lead turnkey plant deployments (ETP/RO/STP/ZLD). You will drive kickoffs, align budgets and schedules, and oversee multi-discipline execution on-site in Tiruppur.

You will mentor PMs across concurrent sites, ensure safety and QA/QC governance, and deliver commissioning, handover, and closeout with comprehensive documentation and training.

Qualifications

• 15+ years executing turnkey ETP, STP, RO or ZLD plants, with several plants personally commissioned to guaranteed parameters
• Experience running multiple concurrent project sites through a team of Project Managers
• Strong planning discipline with MS Project, Primavera or equivalent
• Contract literacy — reading terms, managing variations, raising/defending claims, handling LD and guarantee clauses
• Hands-on commissioning capability — able to troubleshoot biological or membrane systems on-site
• Proven site safety and QA/QC governance

Responsibilities

• Own project kickoff: define scope, budget, baseline schedule and risk register for each order
• Build and manage L1-L3 schedules; sequence civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation works
• Mobilise site teams, subcontractors and fabrication capacity against the schedule
• Govern concurrent sites through Project Managers; conduct weekly site reviews against baseline
• Manage interfaces between civil, mechanical and electrical works, and between company and client scope
• Own site QA/QC and EHS: inspection and test plans, welding/hydro-testing, safety compliance and incident reporting
• Control on-site materials: BOQ reconciliation, wastage control and surplus returns
• Track project costs against budget and flag margin erosion early
• Manage billing milestones and certification; coordinate with Finance to maintain positive cash flow
• Identify, price and secure change orders and claims; protect against scope creep
• Lead commissioning, stabilization and performance guarantee runs to contracted parameters
• Complete client and O&M handover with full documentation, training and spares list
• Formally close out projects: final billing, retention release, defect liability tracking and lessons learned
