Job summary

JHC Recruitment Agency is seeking a Construction Head to lead end-to-end execution of Real Estate and Hotel projects in Chandigarh. You will drive delivery within timelines, budgets, and safety standards, coordinating PMC, contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure seamless execution.

The ideal candidate will have strong PMC exposure and proven large-scale Real Estate/Hotel construction experience, with a B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering and preferred NICMAR/M.Tech/PMP/PMC certifications.

Qualifications

• Must-Have: Strong PMC exposure with proven experience in large-scale Real Estate and Hotel construction projects.
• Education: B.E./B.Tech Civil Engineering (full time).
• Preferred: NICMAR, M.Tech, PMP or PMC certifications.
• Real estate and hotel/hospitality project experience is mandatory; hotel projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Construction Head - Real Estate & Hotel Division

Role & responsibilities

Lead end-to-end construction execution of Real Estate and Hotel projects from planning through completion and handover.

Drive project delivery within approved timelines, budgets, quality, and safety standards.

Manage and coordinate PMC, contractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and project teams, ensuring performance and productivity.

Develop and monitor project schedules, milestones, resource plans, and execution strategies to ensure timely completion.

Monitor project budgets, BOQs, variations, procurement costs, and cost optimisation.

Ensure strict adherence to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and construction methodologies.

Review daily/weekly project progress, identify critical bottlenecks, and implement timely corrective actions.

Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, MEP, Interior, Design, and other technical teams for seamless project execution.

For Hotel projects, oversee execution of MEP, interiors, guest rooms, F&B areas, landscaping, and other hospitality facilities.

Ensure compliance with statutory approvals, safety standards, environmental requirements, and applicable construction regulations.

Lead project teams, set performance targets, and ensure effective manpower and resource deployment.

Identify and mitigate project risks related to cost, quality, safety, resources, and timelines.

Drive snag-free completion, testing & commissioning, project documentation, and timely handover.

Provide regular project MIS, progress updates, cost status, and key risk/issue reports to senior management.

Must-Have: Strong PMC exposure is mandatory, along with proven experience in large-scale Real Estate and Hotel construction projects.

PMC Exposure: Mandatory preferably significant experience working with/through PMC teams
Education: B.E./B.Tech Civil Engineering full time
Preferred: NICMAR/ M.Tech / PMP / PMC
Real Estate construction experience is mandatory; Hotel/Hospitality project experience will be highly preferred.
