Job summary

Unique Concrete Technologies seeks a Project Head to lead end-to-end project delivery in Mumbai, ensuring profitability, quality, and timely execution. You will manage budgets, supervise site operations, and coordinate with Civil, design, finance, and billing teams to achieve business goals.

The role requires an MBA and 8–10 years of relevant experience, with strong leadership, budgeting, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Qualifications

  • MBA (full-time) required.
  • 8-10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to lead end-to-end projects with governance and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Drive overall project performance with accountability for profitability, cash flows, cost optimization, and business outcomes.
  • Ensure effective day-to-day management of project operations, application progress, and delivery timelines.
  • P&L ownership.
  • Monitor project financials, budgets, and operational metrics to ensure business objectives are achieved.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Civil, design, finance & billing for smooth functional workflow.
  • Ensure timely execution and delivery of projects while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance standards.
  • Identify and evaluate contractors, consultants, and vendors for various work packages.
  • Conduct comparative techno-commercial vendor analysis and recommend final selection.
  • Certify bills of contractors, consultants, and vendors and coordinate with Finance for timely payments.
  • Oversee site management and execution excellence across all project phases.
  • Ensure strong coordination between internal teams, consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders.
  • Lead project review mechanisms to identify execution gaps and implement corrective actions proactively.
  • Risk Management & Governance
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks impacting project timelines, costs and customer commitments.
  • Track project spends against approved budgets and ensure cost control within sanctioned limits.
  • Monitor cash flows and project profitability.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and review site inspection with client team or PMC.
  • Ensure implementation of quality and safety initiatives at the project location.
  • Conduct daily internal reviews and weekly progress meetings with contractors and site teams.
  • Review material requirement schedules with procurement and site teams.
  • Prepare and present monthly project status reports to the Operations Head and Regional Head.
  • Highlight & resolve risks, develop mitigation strategies, analyse cost variances and schedule deviations.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and statutory requirements.
  • Build and lead high-performing project teams with strong execution orientation.
  • Define goals, KPIs, and deliverables for team members aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, training and capability development discussions.
  • Foster collaboration, accountability, and employee engagement within teams.
