Job summary

Tata Communications is seeking a seasoned professional to lead end-to-end Fiber Project Delivery at the circle level. You will manage planning, ROW, material reconciliation, vendor governance, and customer interfaces to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 10–15 years of Fiber Delivery experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders while upholding safety and quality standards.

• Graduation with fiber project delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end Fiber Rollout Project Delivery with planning, ROW management, RECO, vendor management, and customer interface.
• Lead and coordinate teams, partners, and stakeholders to achieve on-time delivery and quality.
• Understand project lifecycle from planning to closure, including risk/change management.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and delivery of commitments.
• Ensure adherence to milestones, budgets, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and drive corrective actions to successful completion.
• Drive governance with vendors and partners, ensuring contract obligations and SLAs are met.
• Conduct quality audits and acceptance to meet customer and organizational standards.
• Utilize project tools for tracking, reporting, and resource/material governance.
• Hands-on exposure to telecom deployment tools and GIS apps for delivery.

Broad outline of the Role

• Responsible for managing Fiber Project Delivery & Lead at circle level. This includes- Customer handling, vendor management, customer change requests, platform uptime, incident management, problem management, CFT / OEM Interlock, Quality management and escalation support for the delivery. This is an Project role, responsible for delivering results that have a direct impact on day-to-day operations and capable of instructing professional or technical staff and reviewing the quality of the work undertaken by these roles.

• Graduation with 10-15 years of Fiber Project Delivery experience

Job Responsibility

• Responsible for end-to-end Fiber Rollout Project Delivery, including project planning, execution, Right of Way (ROW) management, material planning & reconciliation (RECO), vendor management, stakeholder coordination, and customer interface management, ensuring delivery within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams, partners, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders while driving project objectives.
• Possess a thorough understanding of the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, change management, and project closure.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication, issue resolution, and consistent delivery of project commitments.
• Ensure adherence to project milestones, monthly delivery targets, quality requirements, statutory regulations, safety standards, EHS compliance, and industry best practices.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and bottlenecks, including ROW, material availability, and RECO-related challenges, and implement corrective actions to ensure successful project completion.
• Drive vendor and partner governance by ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, quality standards, SLAs, operational requirements, and timely closure of delivery dependencies.
• Conduct quality audits, inspections, and acceptance processes to ensure deployment meets customer and organizational standards.
• Leverage project management tools and digital platforms for project tracking, reporting, resource planning, material governance, and performance monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with telecom deployment and project management tools such as Airtel Works, FF1, Google Earth, Lepton, and other relevant project delivery and GIS applications.
