Job summary

CLF PROJECTS PVT. LTD. is seeking a Project Head for its Railway Infrastructure project in Godda, Jharkhand. You will lead end-to-end execution, planning, cost control, and quality, with accountability for timely completion and billing.

The role requires 15–20 years of experience in Railway Infrastructure/EPC projects, with direct coordination with Railway Authorities, Clients and Consultants.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering mandatory.
• 15–20 years in Infrastructure/EPC/Construction projects.
• Railway infrastructure experience mandatory, preferably in large-scale projects.
• Experience in Railway civil works, bridges, ROB/RUB, earthworks, structures, planning, billing, commercial and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Overall ownership of project execution, milestones, productivity, cost and timely completion.
• Lead civil, bridge, ROB/RUB, earthwork, structural and associated railway works as applicable.
• Monitor project schedule and progress; implement recovery plans.
• Coordinate Planning, Engineering, Procurement, Billing, Commercial, QA/QC, Safety and HR teams.
• Maintain follow-up with Railway Authorities, Client and Consultants for approvals, certifications, and measurements.
• Monitor RA/Final Bills, variations, claims and contractual entitlements; ensure timely realization.

Job Summary

Lead and manage the complete Railway Infrastructure Project at Godda, with end-to-end accountability for execution, planning, cost, quality, safety, commercial performance, billing, contractual matters, resources and timely completion.

Railway Infrastructure Project experience is mandatory. The Project Head must proactively and persistently follow up with Railway Authorities, Client and Consultants for approvals, measurements, certifications, billing, variations, claims and resolution of pending issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall ownership of project execution, milestones, productivity, cost and timely completion.
• Lead civil, bridge, ROB/RUB, earthwork, structural and associated railway works as applicable.
• Monitor project schedule, daily/weekly/monthly progress, critical activities and recovery plans.
• Coordinate Planning, Engineering, Procurement, Billing, Commercial, QA/QC, Safety and HR teams.
• Maintain proactive, persistent and result-oriented follow-up with Railway Authorities, Client and Consultants for approvals, clearances, inspections, measurements, technical decisions and certifications.
• Personally monitor pending matters and maintain an Action Taken / Pending Matters Register; esc…
• Ensure timely submission, certification and follow-up of RA Bills, Final Bills, measurements, variations, extra items, claims and other contractual entitlements.
• Monitor receivables and support timely realization of certified bills and project cash flow.
• Control project costs, manpower, machinery, materials and subcontractor performance.
• Ensure quality, HSE, statutory and Railway compliance and minimize rework.
• Lead the project team, manage stakeholders and resolve technical/operational bottlenecks.
• Review project MIS and report progress, risks, delays, commercial issues and corrective actions to management.

Qualification & Experience

• Experience in Railway Civil Works, Bridges, ROB/RUB, Earthwork, Structures, Planning, Billing, Commercial and Contract Management.
• Direct experience coordinating with Railway Authorities, Clients and Consultants preferred.
