Job summary

Narain Engineers Infratech in Lucknow invites an experienced Civil Engineer to lead structural execution on large-scale building projects. The role demands deep hands-on RCC construction expertise and strong site supervision across foundations, columns, beams, slabs and staircases.

You will review drawings (structural, GFC, BBS), ensure adherence to IS Codes, coordinate with consultants, architects and QA/QC teams, and drive timely completion with quality and safety as priorities.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institution.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering and building construction projects.
• Strong hands-on experience in RCC building construction and structural site execution.
• Good knowledge of structural drawings, GFC drawings, reinforcement detailing and BBS.
• Sound understanding of foundations, columns, beams, slabs, staircases and other RCC structural elements.
• Good knowledge of applicable IS Codes, specifications and construction standards.
• Ability to review structural design calculations and identify discrepancies.
• Experience in coordination with Structural Consultants, Architects, QA/QC and Project Management teams.

Role & responsibilities

• Design coordination and supervision of RCC and structural building works.
• Review and interpretation of structural drawings, GFC drawings and design details.
• Preparation and checking of structural drawings, Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) and reinforcement details.
• Supervision of foundation, column, beam, slab, staircase and other structural works.
• Ensure construction is carried out strictly as per approved drawings, technical specifications and applicable IS Codes.
• Check reinforcement, shuttering, cover, levels, dimensions and other structural requirements before concreting.
• Review structural design calculations and identify discrepancies, errors or design-related issues.
• Coordinate with Architects, Structural Consultants, Site Engineers, QA/QC and Project Management teams.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams for proper execution of structural works.
• Monitor the quality and progress of structural activities at site.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants for technical clarifications and resolution of site-related structural issues.
• Identify structural execution issues and recommend suitable corrective measures.
• Ensure proper documentation of structural inspections, drawings, approvals and technical records.
• Support the project team in achieving timely completion of structural works while maintaining required quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with company safety, quality and project execution procedures.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institution.
