Job summary

Essar Steel in Mumbai is seeking a project planning support role to help develop schedules using MS Project or Primavera, track milestones, timelines, and budgets. You will work with the project execution, procurement, and engineering teams to gather data, prepare status reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders, and assist in risk identification and cost control.

Site visits and documentation compliance will be part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing project schedules using tools such as MS Project or Primavera (P6).
• Track project progress against milestones, timelines, and budgets.
• Work closely with the project execution, procurement, and engineering teams to gather and analyze project data.
• Prepare and update project status reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support in preparing and maintaining the Project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Resource Allocation Plans.
• Assist in risk identification and mitigation planning.
• Ensure timely documentation and compliance with project planning standards.
• Support cost control, including monitoring of expenditures and forecasting.
• Participate in site visits and coordinate with site teams for status updates.
