Job summary

Profex Tech is seeking a Project Engineer Civil & Interior Fit-Out with hands-on experience in civil execution and commercial interior projects. You will oversee site execution, coordination, and planning to ensure timely completion of civil and interior works.

The role requires reading drawings, preparing BOQ, supervising HVAC and MEP coordination, maintaining quality and safety, and coordinating with consultants, contractors, and vendors to deliver projects PAN India.

Project Engineer Civil & Interior Fit-Out

Role Overview

We are looking for a Project Engineer with strong hands-on experience in civil execution and commercial/corporate interior fit-out projects.

The candidate will be responsible for site execution, coordination, quality control, project planning and timely completion of civil and interior works.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle site execution of civil and interior fit-out works.
• Supervise structural, civil and finishing activities at site.
• Manage interior works including flooring, partitions, false ceiling, painting and other finishing activities.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors and internal teams.
• Ensure execution is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Read and interpret architectural, structural and technical drawings.
• Prepare and check BOQ, material requirements and site measurements.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure timely completion of activities.
• Manage manpower, materials and day-to-day site activities.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety norms.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain daily and weekly project progress reports.
• Handle contractor and subcontractor coordination and billing.
• Identify and resolve site-level technical and execution-related issues.
• Monitor work progress and ensure proper coordination between different site activities.
• Support final inspection, snagging, rectification and project handover activities.
• Handle site execution of HVAC and core MEP services.
• Having MEP Coordination
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and Core MEP services

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of civil construction and interior fit-out works.
• Good understanding of commercial and corporate interior projects.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Strong site execution and supervision skills.
• Knowledge of BOQ, quantity estimation, material planning and site measurements.
• Experience in contractor and subcontractor management.
• Good knowledge of site quality control and safety practices.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD and site reporting.
• Strong problem-solving and execution skills.
• Ability to manage site activities while maintaining quality and timelines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil construction and interior fit-out projects.
• Experience in commercial or corporate interior fit-out projects is preferred.
• Candidates with immediate or short notice periods will be preferred.
• Strong site execution, coordination and project management skills.
• Must be Comfortable in PAN India Travel.
