Job summary

Convurt is seeking a Project Engineer (Civil) to lead industrial civil construction tasks for factory, warehouse, and plant infrastructure projects in Pune. You will ensure execution aligns with drawings, specifications, and schedules while coordinating with subcontractors and clients.

You will supervise on-site activities, maintain quality and safety standards, and prepare progress reports for timely decision-making.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in industrial civil construction.
• Experience with factories, warehouses, plant infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Execute industrial civil works for Industrial Projects in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, project schedules and applicable standards.
• Supervise site activities including excavation, PCC/RCC works, foundations, flooring, masonry, plastering, drainage, roads, paving, and other infrastructure works as applicable.
• Coordinate daily work with subcontractors, labour teams, suppliers, consultants, and client representatives to achieve planned progress.
• Prepare daily and weekly work plans, track actual progress against targets, and submit daily progress reports and site updates to the client and project management team.
• Take site measurements, verify executed quantities, maintain measurement books, prepare RA bills, and support subcontractor billing and quantity reconciliation.
• Ensure workmanship and materials comply with approved specifications, inspection and test plans, and quality requirements; maintain inspection requests and quality records.
• Implement site safety requirements, conduct routine checks, and coordinate with the safety team to ensure safe working practices.
• Attend client and consultant meetings, coordinate inspections and work approvals, communicate progress and constraints, and follow up on closure of site issues.

Experience

5 to 8 years of relevant experience in industrial civil construction, preferably in factories, warehouses, industrial sheds, plant infrastructure, and external development works.

Key Responsibilities

Expertise & Skills

• Good understanding of industrial civil construction methods, drawings, specifications, quantity estimation, and measurement procedures.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and reporting formats; familiarity with AutoCAD and project planning tools is an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, documentation, and team supervision skills.
