Job summary

Tempsens Instruments India Limited in India is seeking a Project Engineer for Thermal Camera Systems based in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The role focuses on project execution, software-hardware integration, testing, commissioning and on-site customer support.

You will coordinate with multiple teams to ensure on-time delivery, perform functional checks, and travel pan-India for installations and handovers. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Approx. 3 years of experience in project execution for thermal camera systems.
• Experience in software-hardware integration and testing.
• Willingness to travel Pan-India.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, scheduling, and execution of projects to meet timelines and deliverables.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Quality, Software, and Engineering teams.
• Perform functional testing and validation of systems, software and hardware.
• Troubleshoot firmware, electronics, software, or mechanical issues.
• Maintain defect logs and coordinate with teams for closure.
• Conduct pre-dispatch functional and quality checks.
• Travel across India for installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with customers during installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Prepare status updates, commissioning reports, and documentation.
• Collect site feedback for product improvements.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Project Engineer with around 3 years of experience to support project execution, software-hardware integration, testing, commissioning, and customer-site support for thermal camera systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support planning, scheduling, and execution of projects to meet timelines and deliverables.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Quality, Software, and Engineering teams for project execution.
• Perform functional testing and validation of thermal camera systems, software, hardware, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot integration issues involving firmware, electronics, software, and mechanical assemblies.
• Maintain defect logs and coordinate with relevant teams for timely closure.
• Conduct pre-dispatch functional and quality checks of systems.
• Undertake Pan-India travel for installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with customers during system installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Prepare project status updates, commissioning reports, and technical documentation.
• Collect site feedback and coordinate with engineering teams for product improvements.

Required / Preferred Skills

• Hands-on knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems and industrial automation products.
• Experience in integrating field instruments or cameras using Modbus, Profinet, or Ethernet/IP.
• Exposure to industrial environments such as Steel, Glass, Cement, or Power Plants will be preferred.
• Good understanding of electronic systems, software-hardware integration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong project coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer-handling abilities.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and technical documentation.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project documentation.

Qualification

B.E./B.Tech./Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
